The media could not be loaded. The grates on my Char-Griller 5050 have seen better days. I generally prefer OEM parts and you can find replacements on their website for $9.99 for each grate. Once you factor in shipping though, I decided to take a gamble on aftermarket ones off Amazon.After reading some reviews from this seller, I did have my concerns but I’m pleased with the parts and I’d certainly buy from them again.

These grates appear to be a good quality cast iron, heavy and dense. They're an almost perfect replacement for my old grates, which I ordered based on the product description versus physical measurement of my old grates.Despite purchasing based on measurements, these grates are just a tiny bit short, about a quarter inch. They still work great but I have to be a bit careful so one end doesn't drop into the coal bed.

I’m glad I purchased this replacement as one of mine was cracked. Came packaged well with no damage at all. These were the same cast iron grates as my original ones. I highly recommend this product.

Not an exact replica of the OEM grates, but pretty darn close! My grill was purchased Spring 2014, and I got this set for the charcoal side. They had the piece that fit into the groove of the grill so the grates don’t slide. I bought a replacement kit for the gas side, which never occurred to me would not have it. We’ve been grilling on it about a month now and no issues.
