Amazon Brand - Vedaka Gold Tea | Rich & Aromatic Chai | 1 kg

One of the best teas I have ever purchased, I can't believe an amazon brand is better than so many specialized brands in delivering a better product in a legacy brand category. But it got me excited.

After trying lots of tea from different brands I finally chose Tata Tea Gold. It is strong and tastes good as well. And everyone in my family said that this is the tea we are going to use from now on and we had been using it for over a year. I have reviewed that here on Amazon as well. I was trying lots of Vedaka products and found out that those were very good value for money products. I have never faced any quality issue with Vedaka products so far. So I bought this tea just to give it a try as well even though I was quite happy with Tata tea gold. Based on my experience of Vedaka products, I was expecting it to be good regardless of what other reviews said but it turned out to be better than my expectations. It is almost comparable to Tata tea gold at much lesser price. Leaves are almost same as Tata tea gold, a mix of a few green and others black, even though leaves are bit smaller. It is perhaps even stronger than Tata tea gold but taste is similar. Even though price has increased now, still it is less than what Tata Tea gold costs. I have been ordering it regularly from Amazon. Quality did deteriorate in between and it started to taste not as good but last few KGs again have been good. I will still keep buying it. Update 29-09-2020: I have bought it around 25 -30 Kgs till now including from pantry. Price of this tea has now inreased by almost Rs 100 per kg within last 4-5 months and has almost caught up with Tata Tea gold price. Taste wise still no complaints but It is not value for money anymore. Update 06-Jan-2021: I thought of going back to Tata Tea Gold but price of that too had increased by similar amount. So I ordered Tata Premium Tea and it is good. Also, Amazon had made Tata Tea gold 1.5 Kg pack somewhat affordable again, so I started bying it again. But after buying Tata tea gold 3 times, I have realised that it is not as good as it used to be.

Taste is good

I got the masala and ginger flavour 1kg pack. Had to use up my old tea powder before I could use this. What a let down. Zero taste of masala or ginger in this. I usually drink tea without milk and this tastes like generic tea. There was a grass like green thing and some small bits and pieces of tea twigs that I saw when I was boiling tea. I wonder what it was. Just don't expect any masala and ginger taste from this. Think it's normal tea and you will feel fine. It's not strong like some other tea brand's and is pleasant to drink without milk. Not bitter.

I have used vedaka tea past three years i enjoyed the tea, but last time I purchased is not good quality, taste is very poor

Negatives : 1.What we Pay , and what we get is not matching. 2.MRP is too high ( shelling Proce also) . 3. Now It wasn't better , 4. Even it's low price Vedaka Premium is better than this Vedaka God ( or No visible/undersable differences are there) . Positives: 1. Still Taste is Good ( compare to local brand or dust) 2. It has leaf grand. 3. Its not dust. 4. Packet/pakage is good quality ( of course matters wrapper to maintain quality) 5. Previously (till 2021) it was better and had very good amoura . Final : it's prince should be ₹350± & since it's taste , quality and amoura is varing so it should keep consistent to win heart 💓 . Comapre with Tata and go for any of 4 ( Vedaka/ Tata ≈ Premium/Gold) , you'll not regret to purchase

Excellent strong tea, now I don't buy Tata Gold, it's best and cheaper than other tea in market
