Bahlsen Delice Cookies (12 boxes) - Sweet & delicate, buttery puff pastry twists with light crispy layers - 3.5 oz boxes

This is my first purchase of Bahlsen Delice Cookies (12 boxes). I was hesitate to buy them, since I wasn't familiar with the brand or product & thought the price was a tad steep. I like Palmier Pastries but can only get them during the holidays at our local market. While searching on Amazon for the Palmier Pastries I saw the Bahlsen Delice Cookies and after reading several of the reviews I decided to try them. They are as describe - the Bahlsen Delice Cookies are Sweet & Delicate buttery puff pastry twists with light crispiness to them. They are smaller than I expected and would be delightfully perfect to offer at a tea. There are about 20 cookies packaged per individual box. I enjoyed several of the cookies with my morning coffee and I was very pleased with the flavor. I may be purchasing these again.

Love these cookies. They are light, flaky and not too sweet. Perfect with morning coffee or tea. Perfect for that sweet tooth in the afternoon. They have not raised my blood sugar.

Forget company, I might eat all of these myself. Very light and satisfying twisted buttery pastries. Perfect for coffee or tea, or just a light afternoon refreshment. There are 20 in a box wrapped in a plastic tray that you can keep them in for guests to help themselves. I purchased the 12-box quantity. I'm keeping six of these boxes for myself! Wonderfully tasty indeed!

I was looking for a coffee biscuit to replace the Karen's Bakery Puff Pastry ones I bought which are no longer at Costco. I grew accustomed to these delightful biscuits with my morning coffee and dreaded the day i ran out so i searched for a replacement. These are lovely, very similar to Karen's puff pastry biscuits (minus the cream filling) BUT it lookes like they played kickball with the box in the warehouse before shipping. These are 60% pulverized hence useless. I will be ordering direct from the maker or picking some up at World Mkt from now on. Lesson learned, dont buy delicate biscuits from Amazon. They are not returnable so now i have $35 worth of powdered biscuits. Maybe i can make them into a pie crust...

Been buying this product from stores and supermarkets before ‘til they weren’t available. My children loved them when they were kids. Now we know where to get them. Delicious!

The boxes I received Oct 17 do not expire till May of 2025. They are wrapped in small trays, which keeps them safe from breakage. Taste-wise, there's not much to them, and although they are crispy, they taste stale to me. Shipping and delivery were fine. Overall, I would not buy I'd buy again or recommend these cookies. Update: increased rating by one star. To my great surprise, the seller contacted me today and offered a full refund, which I readily agreed to. I am delighted to see that some sellers truly care about our perception of their product. They turned my frown upside-down and, for that, I will give them another try.

Love these cookies ! The price is expensive though !

These were an impulse buy because I've been looking for a mildly sweet tea cookie. I think these are interesting, but not compelling enough for a reorder. One factor is the price, which is high for the dozen or so (very small) cookies per box. The other is the flakiness of the cookie, which is good, but comes off sort of greasy almost. My kids compared them to those danish bites filled with jam you see in your supermarket bakery, only without the jam. They taste good, are mildly sweet, but ultimately I won't buy again.
