The Bamboo Charcoal Purifying Bags (4 x 75g)

This product really works well. It got rid of a persistent smell in a cupboard in just a couple of days and it is still nice after about a month. The pouches look neat and nice, I like their natural look and matt finish. I stuffed mine inside my cupboards so I don't get to see them much but they would look nice if you wanted to keep them in plain sight. You can easily hang them to a hook if you need to, so they are quite practical. The pouches are small but they are effective in an average size cupboard. I haven't tried them in the room (e.g. bathroom) but I suspect that in a small room they would work fine. I'm pleased with my purchase and I would recommend it.

I have bought 12 larger bags since receiving these rather small bags ones. Having placed them all in strategic positions around our home without telling my wife, who has been suffering from severe skin irritation for months, I am delighted that they seem to have eased the problem and, even though I have now told my wife, the irritation has not returned.

Still reviewing this product at present. I put one in my wardrobe (instead on a block air freshener) with a few shoes not boxed up, no obvious odour issues noted, good. I put 1 in each trainer which are quiet smelly and I wear almost daily at present. No smells noted in the room from the trainers which is good. The packs do smell like the trainers for a while when you remover them and the trainers don't smell quiet as bad as they did so that's got to be a positive.

I bought these as we sleep in a room with a poorly insulated bay window, so mould grows on the inside. I'd convinced myself that the mould was making my sinuses flare up in the night, disrupting my sleep. I bought these bags and they really do seem to have helped. I honestly wasn't sure they would. After all, it's just a bag that sits there - not a filter you are actually pumping the air through. The best way I can explain the difference is by comparing to a Brita water filter jug. You know how charcoal-filtered water tastes different from tap water. Well the air in our room smells like filtered water tastes. If that makes sense!

I'm using these in a outside studio space and wasn't sure if they would actually work. But you never know until you take a chance and I was pleasantly surprised. The studio smells fresh even if I haven't been in there for a few days. Yes I charge them up once a month by placing them on a ledge in direct sunlight for a few hour and I guess that's the trick. So all in all they do exactly what they are supposed to do.

I did put the bags in the sun, as per the instructions, irritating because I would not have bought them if I had known that they could not be used immediately, and they don't seem to make the slightest difference. Having bought them, I will persevere and will recharge them again when there is a little more sunshine.

Attracted by green credentials and natural product. Just about works but don't expect too much from it.

Bought some new bedside drawers that came with a strange smell, put a couple of these in and they soaked up the smell. I leave them around the kitchen when we've had an Indian takeaway now. Give them an air on the washing line after then good to go next time you need to soak up some funky smells.
