Best handheld cordless vacuum cleaner
I have been using this vacuum for a year and now it's best time to write a review. Light in weight so easy to handle and manoeuvre. Battery are perfect and add on advantage is they provide two batteries in the pack. I have huge two bedroom flat and battery last two time full cleaning. Turbo mode is also a boon. Their is a small light at the bottom which turns on during carpet mode is also impressive. For the suction I would say 10/10 The only thing that I miss different switch for the light so that I can have it on other modes also. Overall I would recommend this over any other brands.

When I first received the vacuum and looking at the box it seemed a bit too small for a vacuum to be in there, but this shows how space saving it can be Both myself and my wife have been using this hoover for over 6 weeks now, and can say that I am very impressed with it. Both myself and my wife put together some pro and cons for the vacuum so you can see how we liked and disliked it. There are more pro then con for this vacuum. Where the cons are: - Charging time - Hard floor cleaning - Battery life (when using turbo mode) - only two tools. Pro - Two batteries (21.6 V 2500mah - Each) - Brush on the wand pick up hair from carpet very well - Brush has a notch to cut out the wound-up hair - Space saving - Stands by itself - High suction (Only on turbo mode) - Easy empty rubbish - Light weight - Handy light on floor so you when the brush is working - One button start As you can see that there are more pros for them vacuum then cons for the price and features you cannot go wrong. I would have liked a few more tools so I could use it within the car as with the attach tool it can be a bit fiddley. The brush is very easy to clean out just have to unclip the roller and the whole brush pops out. The vacuum glides over floors and is very easy to move around been that it is light weight. Threre are different models you can choose from and you will need to get the one that will suit you home.

Game changer
I researched the main (more expensive than this) cordless vacuums as I wanted a lighter and easier replacement for my old faithful Henry. I was hesitant because I was unsure about how charging would work and whether it would last long enough to clean the whole house. I eventually went for thisone, with two batteries, due to good reviews combined with the less than half price it was available for from Amazon Warehouse, with a bit of barely noticeable cosmetic damage. I am really happy with it. It is far, far lighter and easier to use than I'd expected which means it is brilliant for homes with lots of stairs. The normal suction is ok but not perfect, so you do need it on Turbo for picking up bigger bits or hair. Using it like this I'd say I get twenty minutes from the battery. As this comes with two batteries you can just swap them over when needed, and it means you always have one ready charged. The batteries are just charged from a normal wall plug, and don't need to be kept with the actual vacuum, which folds in half so is only about the size of a pair of big wellies to store! I've not tried one of the bigger branded cordless vacuums, but I can't imagine they are much/any better. We'd been cleaning regularly with Henry but first time we used this SO much dust came up. It is also really easier for my tween/teen to use which is an added bonus!

excellent value cable free vacuum
Living in a 3 storey Town house with two flights of stairs, two landings and a hall vacuuming with our previous Henriette was a nightmare! The Hoover H-FREE 500 3in1 is a a purchase I wish I had made years ago. Easy to assemble, lightweight, a delight to use with excellent suction, a superb array of configurations to deal with every type of surface (carpet brush and light is very helpful) and situation. The battery power is adequate for a whole house clean, and we put it straight back into the wall fixing and charge again when finished. The components are simple to remove for filter and canister emptying and cleaning. On the whole if you need a versatile cleaner at an affordable price that delivers on performance the Hoover H-FREE 500 3in1 is for you.

Takes a beating
I like it very much, but... if only the battery lasted longer it would 5 stars from me. Collects most of what is directed to collected BUT gets clogged easily. I have a woolen carpet and the stuff (not whole threads entangling the gears or anything) makes similar to furballs and while it sounds like it's working it simply isn't. It's pretty durable compared to other good looking models, lightweight, easy to manager using attachments and has a nice carpet brush. Pick up speed varies but can be great albeit sometimes frustrating.

Do not buy
This cleaner won't please all the people all the time. I've been using it for a week or two and am still working out what it will and won't tackle. So what do I like about it? - it is lightweight. I have arthritic hands and this is ideal. - it has 2 batteries which I need as I have a large house. - it is highly maneuverable and will go under low furniture. - it is far quieter than both my other cleaners - a Vax and a Dyson. What do I dislike? - the collection pod is tiny so I need to empty it twice a room and cat hair has to be prised out manually. - it is excellent for a quick surface clean, but I have to go back to the old ones for anything deeper. - it doesn't do edges or corners - not even slightly. A stiff brush is better and this won't pick up the resulting fluff as it's too heavy. It just about manages on turbo. - there isn't a crevice tool. - it doesn't like cobwebs at all! So am I happy with my purchase? The jury is still out at the moment, but I'm going towards not happy at the moment. Still, my son, who is old enough to know better loves chasing flies with it.........keeps him out of mischief ! Update - do not buy! My hoover spends more time in pieces being unclogged and generally coddled than it does being used. It has given up picking up anything after about a year and still manages to clog up. Avoid.
