This is a good Idea. Concept is almost dead but lacking functionality to get more than a 3-star rating. The problem I had is you can NOT use these ( at least in the way it was intended) on a baitcaster rod and reel. The clip hooks are entirely too large and now is using a giant 7'6" pole where the eyelets are huge. Again my reviews are subjective what I might like you may not like vice versa. Not saying this is a bad product. It would be a great product especially during travel and keeping your hands ns everything else from getting a treble hook stuck in your stuff or your skin. Lure guard if you are reading this- great concept!IN my opinion you should make the hook/clip "Ring", in smaller sizes. And in conclusion- offer different sizes for your Lure gaurds. Especially for baitcasters RODS: instead of exclusively spinning rods.

Great idea with a big however.... the bottom closure on all three in both packages does not close tightly. This allows the treble hooks to poke out. That defeats the intended use. I modified the bottom clip by removing the "tooth" part of the clip and inserted a velcro strap through the clip receiver. The protector now closes tightly.

I had a similar product years ago but gave it away with my other fishing gear. Now that I've resurrected my fishing interest, I knew I needed to have these in order to be ready to begin casting once I reached my spot on the river. I know it will work well as it encloses the lure and keeps it from tangling with other gear in my car and on the boat.

These function relatively well by keeping hooks contained. The problem is with the built in plastics hook on the outside of the container. It does not function well due to the size and shape to hook onto anything.

They work as described. Only thing is sometimes they are hard to open. You have to make sure you have the tabs lined up when you close them. They do come in handy when taking multiple rods, keeps from tangling on the other lures.

Amazing invention with a very practical purpose.

Could be a lot better with a few minor changes. It is to heavy but it does protect from hooks hooking unwanted things. You only receive 1 size but it will fit most lures.

Not very durable. Hinges are breaking easy. I use for my topwater lures.
