Honestly, I’m glad I did because this is one of those name-brand products where I genuinely think the quality difference is noticeable compared to a lot of the private label store brands. The biggest difference to me is the cotton quality itself. Q-tip brand swabs just feel sturdier, softer, and more durable overall. With some cheaper store-brand versions, it feels like the cotton starts unraveling or the stick bends too easily. These hold up much better during use, whether you’re cleaning electronics, doing grooming, first aid, or everyday bathroom use. Another underrated thing is how portable they are. If you grab one of those little plastic cotton swab travel holders from the travel section of a department store, you can throw a handful of these in there and take them anywhere without worrying about them getting crushed or falling apart. And yes, there are definitely some store-brand dupes out there that come close nowadays. Love this !! Very consistent, reliable, effective quality. They look and act exactly as advertised. Since using these, I haven’t switched back to other brands… every time I try, I come back! Arrived in less than 24 hours and at a great price! The kids love to use it for arts and crafts (painting and sketching). These are PERFECT to clean my cat’s ears (100% cotton and small enough to get into the hard spots… doesn’t irritate him or make him uncomfortable). They aren’t too weak or overly strong… very useful. Veterinary recommended for all my pets (cats, dogs and birds). These are helpful with removing needing to clean sensitive areas on makeup clients (like getting hair out of eyeball, for example). The cotton stays attached and the product does not wither with time or storage.

We used to buy these when we were in the USA but can't seem to get them easily over here in the UK. However we have found them now and will stay loyal customers, they are much more sturdy than the UK versions and are recyclable too.
