Is it possible that the filter light would re-illuminate only six weeks after installing your filter?

Hi, Thank you for your inquiry. Since our filters are not from OEM, they may not rigger the indicator on your refrigerator. So could you please reset your indicator according to the refrigerator manual? Thank you. And the filter needs to be replaced every 6months by time or 300 gallons by usage, whichever comes first.
