My only use w/b audio phone calls using my Motorola smart phone (no music listening). I need great voice and mike quality. Do these fit that bill ?

I've been using it for music, audiobooks and videos, sports. It is capable to pause whatever I'm doing for phone use if I set it up that way. So my answer would be YES. You can use it just for the phone option. I have it on DO NOT DISTURB so it won't even make a sound of notifications. You can set it in your settings for just phone. I'm assuming you mean cellphone, since this is a Bluetooth hookup and not able for land lines.

Do these headphones have hear-through?

Yes they do, and it's great hear through too. I use them when I game with friends so I can hear myself talk

Can they be used wired and charging at once? if the battery is getting low, can i plug in the headphone jack and the charger to keep using anc, etc?

Truly I have never tried to charge and use at the same time. But the battery life is great nevet had to.

Is there a mute button on the headphones? (in case I need/want to mute the microphone, but am away from the paired device)
