Good quality product that works well and, at least for me, lowers the risk of drawing blood with a sharp knife. Just what I was looking for.

Very eat to use

This is one handy tool cutting tomatoes, slicing thru English muffins, etc.. My husband is using it all the time when he’s cooking.. it’s a strong tool..

Purchased this for slicing fruit garnishes for my bar. Decent size, if not a little small. Easily handled, but have trouble puncturing the harder rinds of limes/lemons. The tines are certainly sharp, but I have to tap on the top several times to drive them through fruits. Easy to clean

my fruit slicing guide, is very well made and easy to clean, but it does of some challenges when using it for apples at least... I had to be careful not to push the guide all the way through the apple, there wasn't room to insert the knife if inserted too far. The tines on the guide tended to splay out on the apple, making uneven cuts. Because I was hoping to core the apple then cut rounds to use in a dryer even cuts is important. In addition the apple wanted to roll away on the last few cuts, the guide wouldn't hold it steady, this made cutting unsafe. But the cut across my little finger didn't need stitches. I cut the apple in half, and put the cut side against the cutting board to provide stability. the apple still dried fine, just wasn't what I was hoping for. I could cut apple slices this well without the guide. It was somewhat frustrating.

I buy bulk mushrooms from Costco and slice and freeze them in sandwich bag lots for later, instant use for using in omelets - works great and avoids ALL waste from not being able to use up the Costco allotment in under 10 days or so (mushrooms get all slimy and worse after 4+ days in fridge). I thought this lemon holder would be the ticket for saving me some time slicing the mushrooms. It is no good for that! Slicing mushrooms entirely by hand is plenty quick enough. This lemon holder does not beat that somewhat tedious job but makes the job slower and messier. Back to hand-held mushroom slicing.

I love this thing. Makes slicing so much easier. I now use it almost every day for mushrooms, tomatoes, fruit, anything hard to get a hold of where a nice straight slice is good.

I am a bit clumsy and can injure myself easily when I’m trying to cut something. This product evil easily prevents that! It holds the item in place so that the knife does not get near my hand. Great purchase!
