I purchased this but it keeps slouching, the rotating ball just slouches so the phone is pointing towards the ground rather than towards me

The rotating ball does move very easily - we make sure the iPhone used with our holder is gripped at the midpoint so as not to allow the phone to overbalance and tip forward. So far, even on some long car journeys, this has worked with no slouching.

does this work for an older model CLC

I would recommend a different one since the clc air system is lines, the same company has one made for that System too it’s called Cocoda Car Phone Holder
