24K Leto Great Product!
Installed 24k Leto myself, had all tools and equipment, except pump. Installation was easy. The biggest challenge was getting a vacuum pump good enough to reach 500 microns. 500 microns is 29.90 inHg (inches of mercury) vacuum. I am a electrician so I also wired it and am experienced with flaring lines if you cut them shorter. Note: There is minimum length and lines should be leaked tested. I vacuumed the lines and let it sit overnight and checked to see if it held the vacuum. the manual says to squirt leak detect to look for leaks. this does not work on a vacuum. you could contaminate the lines. Also when putting flair fittings together, no lube is required and in my opinion is a waste of money. The A/C works GREAT so, far for 2 weeks. Very cold! Extremely quiet! Looks VERY NICE! Remote works Great! Exceeded Expectations! GREAT PRICE! Came with Alexa Wi-Fi adapter. Did Not hook up after reading user agreement. Gives permission to access ALL YOUR COMMUNICATIONS! Wow, Why would you allow that? Will look into other WiFi options.

24000 BTU - Very happy - Experienced DIY'ers or Professional HVAC installation recommended
Bought this for my 1350 Square Foot finished basement. This unit provides AC, Heat and dehumidifying which is exactly what I needed. After a month or more of use, it admirably provides all of that and does so efficiently and quietly! Installation. This is the only Mini-split I have ever installed so there is always a learning curve. I am very familiar with HVAC and I have many of the tools already since I worked on automotive HVAC from time to time and I consider myself to be a pretty knowledgeable on the subject. You will need a set of gauges, evacuation/vacuum pump, you may need a flaring tool, a hole saw 3.5"....and if you were like me, I was going through brick and concrete block so be ready to spend some money on that since masonry bits that size with a drill to go with it are not cheap! If you are going through siding and wood it is a much easier proposition. I would also recommend getting a cover kit for all the piping so you can make it look neat and protect all of that from elements. Power...you will need 220V at 25Amp, with a disconnect on the outside next to the unit and it will need to be accessible for future service and it is hardwired from your box to the outside AC unit. In my case, the air-handler that in on the inside of the home, is powered from a cable that comes from the outside unit so no additional receptacles were required. With this purchase it came with 16' of copper hose (two), a control power cable and drain hose. Depending on your application you may want to shorten the hoses or you may need to add to it. In either case this will require a flaring tool...fittings do come with the system if you need to this. If you need to extend the tubing to over 25' you will also need to add "Freon" so unless you are a licensed A/C contractor, well you may need one for that. 16' was actually perfect for my application. I have a family member who is an electrician, so I had that part installed and permitted to keep everything up and up especially when/if I sell the house. He also helped me install the Mini-Split. It took us about 4 hours to install and we had no issues with the installation and because he is an electrician he had the 3.5" masonry drill bit and 1/2 inch rotary drill that we needed. I can say it was pretty straight forward and there are plenty of YouTube videos where people do step by step installation. The instructions are helpful but confusing at times, so this is where experience is helpful to read in between the lines...since the instructions are for multiple units they sell and they are not all the same!!!! Now that I have done one I feel pretty confident to do another. I would also buy this product again with out hesitation. My only recommendation is if you have to buy the tools to be able to do the job, I would recommend just calling an AC professional and have them install. The cost of the necessary tools you may need may not be worth the investment unless you plan to do more of these in the future. If you do not even have a vacuum pump, gauges, flare tool etc, then you likely do not have experience either, and I would recommend you seek professional installation. Note: I saw on some videos people not vacuuming out the lines and just putting the systems together and releasing the preloaded Freon into the system (avoiding the need to purchase or rent a evacuation/vac pump). This is a bad idea since it introduces air and moisture into the system that will degrade its performance, shorten life span of the components and voids the warranty, plus you need that step to check for leaks. Freon is not cheap! Take a gut check on this. If you are handy and confident with your skills, go for it! If you are not sure, maybe seek someone out who has done it to help, or just call an competent HVAC tech to come out and do it for you.

This mini split air conditioner heat pump works very well. It cools and heats my space efficiently, and the temperature control is accurate and easy to adjust. The unit runs quietly, uses energy efficiently, and the installation was straightforward with the included mounting hardware. The build quality feels solid and durable, and the remote control is convenient for daily use. Overall, a reliable and effective solution for year-round comfort.

Very nice unit! Was it easy, well that depends...
6/20/24 Unit is still performing GREAT! It's been near 100 degrees for days and the unit is keeping up without effort. I have left it running for a couple weeks now, it actually throttles back during the hottest part of the day. Seems to be a very good unit! Installed over a couple days. Instructions are lacking but if you're mechanical you can figure it out. Youtube is your friend! Mounting the inside unit was pretty straight forward. I used the Senville mounting kit outside. I opted to provide my own 6" mounting bolts, going all the way through the studs from the inside to outside. Make sure you put at least four bolts in the top mounting rail. I was concerned about bending the copper lines without damage. Turns out Senville has permanent springs (like the ones you'd use for bending pipes) wrapped around the copper lines where the tight bends will occur. The bends went easy, just take your time. The install time will very much depend on your application. Things like, how far will you have to pull electricity, the path of the electricity, will you have to cut open a wall to pull the wiring? Will your outside unit be elevated, do you have a platform to work on or will it all be ladder work? Something I didn't consider was the drain line. I ended up having to install a drain under a gravel parking area. Not a big deal but you should consider where the water will go. Oh, and this thing puts out water like a garden hose! Literally a steady stream, not dripping, but a steady stream! Quality: It appears, thus far, to be really well made! I bought the 220volt 24K unit. The thing is super quite inside and outside. My Goodman units are much louder! Performance: I installed the unit in a 30X40 garage with a 13' ceiling. The garage is very well insulated with no windows. So far, the unit has cooled it well and it has been hot and very humid. I would but again and likely will buy again.

Solid unit for the price
I bought this Senville Leto 24K as the first mini-split for my 30x50 steel shop. Later on I purchased the more expensive Aura unit of the same size, which allowed me to draw some comparisons between the two. The inexpensive Leto is a fine unit. Easy to install, everything needed was there. You want heat, cooling, it does both and did a reasonably good job maintaining a set temperature in this large building by itself. I opted for a second unit (the Aura), only so I could bring building to desired temperature faster, as I don't typically leave them on all the time. The Leto is your typical Chevrolet-- nothing fancy but gets the job done. It is an inverter model, which I suspect simply means it has a DC fan / compressor. The best that I can tell, it does not have a variable speed compressor/fan which likely explains the efficiency difference between it and the more expensive Aura. The outside unit is either commanded on or off, there's no in between. One observation is that the physical size is noticeably smaller than the Aura for both the indoor and outdoor units. It also draws less power (requires a 20A circuit vs the Aura's 25A requirement) despite being less efficient. This leads me to believe the Aura has at the very least, greater heating capacity, possibly cooling capacity as well, despite both being listed as 2 ton / 24K BTU. I haven't tested heat out fully, but it puts out hot air. Haven't had anything other than high 40's, low 50's outside temps since I've owned it, but will update review when real cold hits. It cools nicely even on our 90+ degree humid days. All the other functions work fine-- dry/dehumidify is a nice feature, though it puts out colder air which might be undesirable if you don't want to cool your space. Only complaints I have are: For the longest time the remote operated very poorly. You'd have to press the same button several times for the unit to register the command. Strangely it seems to have improved over time (despite having same [good] batteries installed); now 80%+ of the time, it will register the command on first try, even from 10+ feet away. With two Senville units (Leto / Aura installed on same wall), one remote will sometimes command both units. They are two different remote models, and this is a completely random occurrence-- it doesn't do it all the time. Mildly frustrating, but not enough to knock a star because if you're careful with pointing the remote, it can be avoided. Some crude measurements using my utility company electronic service meter, suggests this unit draws around 1500W when in cooling mode. I did a very unscientific test by leaving it running set to 78 degrees 24/7 for the first month (in cooling mode) in this building and it added about $30 to my electric bill. High temps during this time were anywhere from high 70's to high 80's. In conclusion, if you need a solid heat/air unit at the lowest cost, this unit is near impossible to beat IMO. After installing the Aura, I believe the Aura wins hands down if you can stomach the extra cost. In the photos, the Leto is the smaller outdoor unit on the right. Indoor unit, Leto is on the left.

GREAT PRODUCT
Just got it. Been installed a month. Works Great. The WiFi chip goes in a different spot because this is the new model. It's a Two man job definitely. But easy to install. Be sure to get a Wall cover for the lines. Around $32.00 well worth it.

So efficient it dropped the cost to heat and cool my house.
Trying to get a licensed installer to put this is for a reasonable price was impossible. The people I finally got to do it did a horrible job and the process was a pain. As for the product I have used it in both hot and cold so far. Iโm in Colorado and got it done just before winter hit. The cooling part is a game changer. This is in my 4 car garage and I keep it cooled in there for my dogs to come in to their kennel when itโs hot out. I did a bunch to help the efficiency. I noticed this helped keep the house cooler above the garage too. My bill actually went down having this in there. Iโm not sure the issue but once it froze over and was dripping water inside. I sent a message to the company that installed it but never heard back. I shut it off for the night and it was dry and fine the next morning. Works fine. The heat is great too. I was worried it wouldnโt keep up with a 2 bay door opening but it does. I keep the garage about 66 and it hardly runs I think. Itโs so quiet I really donโt know when itโs on unless I feel it or Iโm under it and can hear it. My bill For heat went down too. To keep the house 70 and the garage 66 even snowing and a few single digit days and nights my last bill was $36. The garage is a large 4 car attached and the house is 3000sqft. This is only in the garage but the heating and cooling took a load off of my house furnace and ac because it got rid of the heat and cold under the 2nd level. Both bills went down significantly. I insulated my garage doors and am upgrading the seals. Walls and attic are insulated and drywalled and the dog door is a double flap door. Working in a cooked space in the summer is unreal. Itโs also nice to be out in the garage working in shorts and a tank top with 10โ of snow on the ground. I loved the feeling so much I have made the garage feel like part of the house. Paint, cabinets, polished and stained concrete floors with led lighting. It feels like Iโm working on cars in my kitchen. I love it. Highly recommend this product and so far itโs been problem free other than the ice and that hasnโt been back.

Exceeded my expectations
So far so good! I have had this unit in my two level 1600 sq.ft. home now for a month. It is installed in the living room and very surprisingly cools the whole house - far exceeding the manufacturer's recommended square footage. Sure the furthest rooms from the unit are less cool but it does the job well, is loaded with features and is super quiet. I got tired of replacing super expensive central heat pumps every 10 years and took a chance on this mini split. I don't regret it at all. For the cost, I am very satisfied with this product.

Don't hesitate to buy this unit, its super high quality
I bought this unit to cool 1000 sq/f in a mild climate. It took 2 days to install as i did not have easy access to power. This unit requires a 2 pole 1 phase 240V circuit. basically what that means is you need 3 wires connecting to your breaker panel. 2 positives and a ground (neutral is not used). Anyways the unit was missing some much needed metal clamping grommets for the inside unit and outside unit. These are not included and they expect that your experienced electrician will provide them. If you are doing this yourself you can get them from the hardware store. Installation was very easy, use a stud finder and RTFM. For the copper hookups I had a professional AC installer come in and do the work as the equipment to vacuum the lines cost the same amount as their service and since i will only do this once i do not need to have the equipment hanging around the house. The unit vacuumed nicely and the techs were impressed on how low they could get the vacuum. Once all hooked up i powered the unit on and cold air came flying out. The unit is super quiet and you can only hear it on turbo mode (Full speed). the outdoor unit is also ultra quiet and your neighbours will not even notice it running. This unit is fantastic, don't let the unknown name throw you off from buying this, it is high quality and the radiators have tons of surface area to allow the heat transfer to happen. they are anodized blue in color and look awesome. i would love it it they made a clear cover as i think the inside looks amazing.

Why did I wait so long?
After the price of pellets went to $8 bag and my house insurance went up due to wood burning, I decided to finally try this 2400btu Leto unit. IT IS AMAZING. Although I am quite proficient in DIY, I was worried about the installation, however within 3 hours of installing this unit it was up and running and has been for over 6 months now. The cooling was excellent and now almost finished its first winter, it kept my home so comfortable I was ashamed how long I waited. I have the unit on its own electric meter, and so far the highest cost heating my 1700sf upper floor has been $2.36/ 24 hr day. I Plan to install a second unit on my lower level very soon!

Huge savings on heating costs
Excellent purchase and saved hundreds of dollars each month on my electricity bill since I only had electric heat and no other option was available in my area. I especially like that it is heat in winter and air conditioning in summer. Solid purchase and no issues for the past five years.

Order a vacuum pump for DIY installs!
Don't want to be negative about the product because overall we are very happy with it, it's quiet and effective. But I think there is some room for improvement so I'll make a few points. I hate the Alexa option and turned it off as soon as I tried it. I don't like Alexa and would much rather have an app. The instructions left a lot to be desired. Senville makes several models and there are regular statements in the manual that say "for some units..." this or that may apply. Why can't they just publish a unit specific manual? It's not a cheap product and this would increase the comprehension of the manual. There should have been some large clear photos or even an online video. I found several of the instructions accompanied by small drawings that just didn't illustrate things well and I spent a lot of time trying to figure out. There was something called a "functional filter" that installed on top of the air filter and made no sense, as opposed to what? A non functional filter? There was just one functional filter supplied but there were two slots and it is very small so what can it do? There was no explanation. Also, for DIY installations I think it should be made clear when ordering that a vacuum pump is essential to complete the install. They are available reasonably priced on Amazon but I didn't realize how important it was initially so did not buy it and it really slowed down the completion of the install. All in all, happy with the unit, it seems well made and works as described!
