You will either love or hate this paper. It works well for me because I enjoy working on rough paper. This paper absorbs water well so you can get some lovely blooms. I prefer to use it wet on wet. But it can create some nice artwork wet on dry as well. The painting above may help give an idea of how it takes the paint.

This paper is certainly inexpensive and extremely beautiful with a deep deckle all around, but I bought it for watercolors, and it's very strange. It doesn't take paint well and is kind of like painting on paper towels. When you get it, be sure to wet it really well and pull it flat, because it is bad to buckle, plus the paper arrives tightly shrink-wrapped and those lovely deckled edges will need to be straightened out.I've been giving it to people who buy my paintings to see if they want to try anything with it.I just had the bright idea to paint it with watercolor ground to see if that would improve it, but I don't know yet.
