I wanted to buy the glasses that were used in "Blade Runner" but they are quite expensive and I was worried about breaking them. I ended up getting these instead and they are great glasses. They have a nice shape to them that reminds me of melted ice. I find that in my left hand they are very secure, they fit like they were molded for my hand. I think they may fit my right hand less securely. I also ordered a set of the shot glasses from this design and those are very study. I dropped one and made a nice ringing noise and didn't break. I definitely recommend these glasses. If you are looking for something closer to the ones from Blade Runner, checkout the Bormioli Cassiopea series.

Great glasses! I like the size and weight of these. The contours fit nicely in the hand and are large enough to accommodate a nice cocktail with ice. We were served drinks in these glasses at Nomad Lounge and Tiffin’s (in Animal Kingdom at Disney World), thought they would be great to use for summer cocktails, and were able to track them down here (can confirm these are the same maker and same size and quality as the ones used at Disney). Glad we did, we’re enjoying them!

There are a few things I find personally important in glassware, considering my own lifestyle, preferences, and tendencies. These include sturdiness, ease of grip, and dishwasher-safety. I am very clumsy, and I have broken many a glass throughout the years, so it is important for me that a glass be difficult to break and not likely to slip out of my hand. The shape and texture of this glass make it comfortable to hold and not as slippery for someone like me. I haven't broken one yet, but I only got the set a few days ago so I can't really say much about the long-term durability. However, the glasses don't feel particularly delicate, so I am not too worried. Finally, I am about as lazy as one can get, and I know that if a glass isn't dishwasher-safe, I probably won't use it (or I'll put it in the dishwasher anyway and have it break, get scuffed, or burst into flames or whatever it is that happens when you put not-dishwasher-safe things into the dishwasher). These have gone in the dishwasher with no bad effects! To conclude: 5 stars! I'd get more if I needed more glasses.

Discovered these glasses at our hotel bar in Madrid, Spain. After a little research we found them on Amazon and ordered them. They are the most comfortable glasses that I have ever held in my hand. They have a nice thick bottom. They were at a good price. After receiving a set of four. I ordered another set the next day.

I was looking for something a little nicer than everyday, big box store type glassware. Not intended for use in the bar, I wanted a larger size without going "tall." These turned out to be perfect. The size is just right for a soda with ice, water, protein shakes, smoothies, etc. I agree with others that they would be on the large size for cocktails but for the once a month or so that I make them, they'll work fine. For everyday beverages, they are perfect. The glasses are very attractive in person with clear glass and a unique design. They are not at all dark/black like the photo appears. The wavy shape actually makes it easier to grip and drink from than smooth glass, and they just feel good in your hand. And the quality is excellent. I can't speak for durability as I've only had them a couple weeks but I can say that they do not appear overly fragile.

I was looking to replace expensive glasses my sister had purchased many years ago from Bon Appetit magazine. Over the years, the set of six glasses became just three. These Old Fashion-style glasses were just right for a good grip with their nooks and crannies, and folds and crumples. I just searched for "crumpled glasses" and of course Amazon had exactly the right thing, exactly the same glasses - and at a great price! Thanks Amazon!

These are authentic Bormioli Rocco imported glassware of the same type popularized by Animal Kingdom's Tiffin's. Nice weight and unique shape. Think these will be my new favorite glasses. Order this glassware by itself - Amazon included these glasses in a box with other items and there was zero protection, so I ended up with a box of smashed glass. Amazon replaced the glasses and I returned the smashed set, but this just seems like such a waste of good imported glassware. Amazon should have a better packing protocol for fragile items.

Everything everyone else has described is right on, but I'll add 3 flaws and 3 strengths. Three flaws: The cool texture of the sides of the glass itself do not allow large ice cubes to fit in as easily as they would into a regular (boring) glass; some iced drinks or mixed drinks made with lower quality booze are better with more ice, and - if you only have large cubes on hand - it is far from ideal. The second issue is that the glasses are just slightly too big around to give you a 100% sure hold on them until you have used them for a while (a physical learning curve). I should note that I have never dropped them and neither have any folks that have used them with smaller hands, but they take a bit of getting used to, just edging them out from from being hands-down the best glasses of all time. They also take up slightly more room than simple (again, probably boring), round glasses in the cabinet. If you have limited space (a small apartment, for example, maybe just small cupboards), but are considering ordering several sets, you might want to get 2 set and some of their other, fine glasses, perhaps some that are stackable. Three overlooked positives: The top half inch of the glass is smooth with a barely noticeable, yet slightly larger bead on the rim, a very nice touch that keeps your lips firm during every sip. The bottom of the glass is concave, preventing the glass from sticking when wet from an iced drink or just on a hot day when you need a cool drink. Most importantly, the glasses just do not want to fall over, I have a pet peeve for tipsy glasses, not so much for tipsy friends. Update: I've bought the taller Bormioli Rocco Sorgente Cooler Glasses, Set of 4, Gift Boxed a few days ago, and I already feel like they are a better choice, even though they are a bit less twisty (and cool), and are more narrow and taller, slightly increasing their likeliness to tip over and slightly reducing their unique look.

I love these glasses. One arrived with a chip from shipping, since they were not protected by much, but they're so beautiful and nice to hold.

Infelizmente, eu não prestei atenção necessária para os tamanhos dos copos e acabei comprando errado. Os copos são, na minha opinião, lindos, mas há 2 tamanhos muito parecido. Quando for comprar novamente, preciso me ater, com atenção, e comprar o tamanho correto!

They are unique and attractive, extremely easy, pleasant and comfortable to hold in your hand because of their shape. They can go in the dishwasher and fit in it nicely.
