Top 10 Copenhagen (Pocket Travel Guide)

I love these travel guides, they are great for planning your trip to a certain country. Everything is very concise and to the point. You can find information quickly and the maps help you organize your route on a daily basis. The information about each location (opening, closing, telephone, cost) are very accurate.

This is a very good guide for a short term visit to Copenhagen. The info is more than enough and very well structured. I like the way Lonley Planet does it. Easy to follow and a very conveniente size to take with you.

Bought it for my adult sons. Sent them to Copenhagen for 11 days and wanted them to have a ball. They went and do exactly that. We go in the fall for 5 days prior to a tour of the Baltic countries. They said it was invaluable for them to maximize their time there. The book was ACCURATE which is a shocker these days. Greatly enhanced their time in country. Worth every dollar.

The "Top 10" format has its problems and they are much in evidence in this little guide to Copenhagen. Information about the same site is found scattershot through out the book instead of in one convenient spot. I found it pretty irritating. The maps, however, are very good, and best of all, a nice little compact separate map is to be found tucked into the flap of the back cover. The photos, as usual in this series, are helpful and vivid. On the whole, though, with the exception of the map, this is a better souvenir than it is a guidebook.

We love these Eyewitness books. Loaded with photos and on-the-scenes diagrams. Excellent cross referencing and numbering systems. Top ten recommendations for hotels, restaurants, shopping and best sights to visit. This one can fit in your coat pocket.

A very good summary of what to do in and around Copenhagen.

Up to date reference from Stoller to a more Enthusiastic Traveler, being a vital asset for key points of destinations, without being routine and generic. I felt sastified with the depth of detail provided and specific flavors of sidetrips and not to miss attractions, and significant historical must-sees...!

I live in Europe and buy Eyewitness Guide books when I travel and they never cease to impress! Full of information like addresses for your GPS and opening hours, etc., as well as language guides and useful tips for traveling in that country. I strongly recommend them to anyone who travels!

I bought many Eyewitness books in the past, I find they approach cities from a different angle. There are walking tours suggested, ideas of what to do depending on the duration of your trip, interesting museums, cultural interactions, do it like the locals - etc. Really nice book to have while traveling, as its size allows you to carry it with you at all times.
