Barbie Avon Victotian Ice Skater Special Edition with Musical wind-up stand By Mattel in 2000 - The box is in poor condition

The doll is lovely and the musical box is gr88 but the box is such that you have to take the doll completely out to view the doll, the whole box is opaque unlike most barbie doll boxes which have one side transparent to display the doll.I have trouble displaying the doll.

The doll looks so pretty in the Victorian skating attire

Love the burgundy hat. Face is pretty. Just the right amount of curly blonde hair... And she's skating! Everyone needs a skating Barbie! The base she stands on turns and plays music. Very happy with purchase.

I bought this as a doll for my daughter, but it really is meant to just be a decorative piece. The doll is supposed to stay atop the stand, and the stand is supposed to rotate, and play music. It doesn't rotate consistently, and when it does it goes soooooooo slowly, one can barely tell it's actually moving. The worst part is that the seller kept it somewhere smokey, so the product, and the box STINK of stale cigarette smoke.
