This is a fantastic amigurumi book. The patterns are well organized and easy to understand, even if you’re not an expert crocheter. The projects are creative and fun to make, and the photos make it easy to see what the finished pieces should look like. Definitely a great addition to any crochet collection.

This is a good book for beginner crocheters. She provides cute patterns and fairly clear instructions. Their are a few things I would have preferred which made me give it a four instead of five stars: 1. The book should be spiral bound so that you can keep it open while you work 2. It would be nice to have an illustration of what each end piece should look like. While the photos are absolutely beautiful, it was hard to tell, for example, if I had the correct shape for the monkey eye piece. 3. Personally I found the yarn she recommended not the most beginner friendly. While I've been crocheting a number of years now, I am actually only just learning to read patterns, and I did find this book to be fairly clear and beginner friendly, there were just a few places where I was left a bit frustrated or confused.

Truly Easy Patterns: These are 26 beginner-friendly patterns that aren't intimidating. The instructions are clear, and the stitches aren't overly complicated, making it perfect for someone just starting out. Full Alphabet of Animals: I love that there is an animal for every letter of the alphabet! It makes it so fun to pick out a specific "critter" for a personalized baby shower gift or a birthday present. Perfect Size: The finished animals are a great size—not too tiny and fiddly, but not so big that they take weeks to finish. Clear Layout: The book is well-organized with great photos so you can actually see what your finished project is supposed to look like.

My granddaughter had just learned to crochet and was excited to get this book to help her with patterns. She has made several of the animals and each one has turned out so cute. It is easy to understand and full of great ideas. I would recommend this book for anyone that is just beginning to make crochet animal.

Bought this as a gift for my mom. My mom wanted something that gave her step by step instructions and this book provided that. She loves it!

The corner of the book came bent because of shipping, but that's a drawback of paperback. I worked up Junior the Jellyfish, and the pattern is easy to follow. The abbreviations and information about the process can be found in the front of the book. It lists Bernat super value on each pattern, but the introduction says clearly that you can use any worsted weight yarn. The one I made was Red Heart super saver. I definitely recommend this book if you have any interest in amigurumi. It's pretty easy to follow the patterns. It's great for beginners, since this was only the second stuffed animal I crocheted and the second pattern I followed. This book is worth the money.

There are many different patterns to choose from. My 19 year old niece recently started so I bought this for her and she made this for my mum in a week. She loved it so very much. She noted that in some parts it was more difficult to follow than others but it is very well illustrated and great quality book.
