We loved putting it together as a project and learning to build it was a blast. It was easy to inderstand instructions and with the metal body it feels like a tank! Super durable and long lasting battery. 10/10 will buy again.

This is a great project for our 9 year old. He built it in a day. The programming projects are taking him a bit longer but he's enamored

Really fun and simple "build" - probably takes about an hour if you let the kid do everything and figure out the instructions. The remote control is OK, you can do a few things and its cute. Comes with all the tools you need and its a nice little project. But the mBot app is amazing! Included for no extra charge, and it has a free-coding mode and a game/learning mode that progressively teaches about how to build code structures. Coding project cards included. If she keeps at it, I'll be getting some add-on parts to expand the robot. Great value for the money. I put the app on an old phone and gave the kiddo free reign to learn on her own.

Good product

This is not a toy, but that doesn’t mean it’s not fun! It’s a very sturdy machine with legit parts for a robot. I find the programming just as fun and addictive as my kid. The projects are fun, but we went through them quickly so I’ve had to make up more challenges to keep the interest going. A few notes: the software and documentation are not bulletproof. I’ve had to do a bit of debugging through the process that I don’t think a parent without prior experience with programming and basic knowledge of electronics would easily figure out. The makeblock forums are very helpful when you run into issues. Overall, everyone loves mBot and its been a great learning experience

The instructions were very clear and easy to understand. It only took 20ish minutes to assemble. This worked great for my daughter's Science Olympiad project because, not only was programming easy, it took AA batteries instead of lithium ion. The AA batteries were not included, neither was the CR2025 batter needed for the remote.

Es un excelente producto para involucrar en la programación a un niño, mi hijo tiene 10 años. Descargue de la páguina oficial de makeblock la herramienta "mBlock Blockly App" a mi hijo le gustó y ha resuelto con entusiasmo los ejercicios que le presentan. Entre mis compañeros de trabajo y amistades recomiendo ampliamente al Mbot.

I bought this for my nephew for Christmas and it was by far the most successful gift. Both of his parents are engineers and so we got a lot of help building it. I don’t know how user-friendly it is for families without pros to assemble it but it’s worth the risk. The following Christmas I bought one of the add-ons and they were another big hit. Really impressed with the quality and ingenuity. If you’re looking for a good stem gift this is the one.

My son love it , very good quality but it is a bit tricky to get the app.
