Is it true that the lens and the led bulb should be of same color?  i have amber front turn signal lenses. thx!

Speaking from experience with these bulbs, if you put a bright white LED bulb in a turn signal spot that has an amber lens cover, the white bulb almost washes out the yellow color pf the lens.  Buy the amber LED's if you are going to use them behind an amber cover.  I know this is a late reply, but the answer is for the next guy with the same question.

I have red taillight lenses on my golf cart. should I order bright white or red?

I hate to disagree with others but I have found in most applications that using a bright white bulb with a red lens tends to wash out the red color. The white bulb does indeed produce a brighter light but usually it's the white that comes through not the red color. When I use red bulbs with red lenses it usually produces a more intense red color which in my opinion provides better visual indication of a brake or turn signal light.

Question 4

These make my turn signals blink slow then fast on a 2011 Harley wide glide. Is this normal?

A resistor is required for it to continuously blink slow or at a regular rate. The fast rate blinking is because the LEDs do not resist like most incandescence bulbs. On a motorcycle you have very limited space to access the wiring and for all of them too blink at the same rate you must have the same resistance on the end. There's an LED resistor kit that you can add to your wiring you may need to disassemble your turn signal and add in line but I would not go much further than that into the wiring harness
