Ew! I was looking for a trophy for an award for a staff member and I came across this anchor. I thought it would be a perfect representation of their award, however when I opened the box I was surprised. There’s no way around it, the anchor is just ugly. It is lightweight and doesn’t have much weight to it. I’m returning this as soon as possible. To give the company some credit, I asked my boyfriend his opinion and as a Navy man he said the detail is fairly accurate. He said the brown color is more realistic than the typical silver anchors sold. Pros: it’s a good size Cons: it’s ugly, it’s mostly brown, the detail of the rope is weird and sticks out in an odd manner, so lightweight that it feels cheap (not sturdy), not worth the money spent on it
