I am using these on older iMacs since all the ports are on the back. These are perfect for allowing USB connections without having to “fish around blindly” on the back of the machine. Great product for when you really don’t need a hub, but need to connect and disconnect one item easily!

I purchased a pair of these to reach from my desk setup to a new spot for my computer. One connects to a USB 2 hub in my monitor with its own 1.5ish m cable that has my mouse, keyboard, sound card/microphone, and controller on it; the other is left empty to be able to plug things into my computer as needed. The cables themselves seem well built; plugged-in devices do protrude a bit but that is fairly typical for USB extension cables (... and my laptop ...) and for a permanent connection I would use electrical tape or similar to secure it. At least there is plastic over the female connector - that is not a guarantee with extension cables! The one running to the monitor works well enough, and the other is able to run a portable USB 3 hard drive with its own 0.5 m cable at expected speed (but you're definitely at the limits of USB 3 there). I guess we will see how long it holds up, since other reviewers did mention degradation. The branding sticker is bad, though, depending on your plans Not only does it present a curved surface, it's on the "underside" of the cable. They really should have used a flat sticker, silkscreened, or simply embossed their branding like they have on other cables they sell (and, for that matter, the USB logos on these cables!). At least it's easy enough to take the sticker off by using a knife or something to lift a corner.

Not a fan of the Amazon Basics brand but I have to say this cord seems very sturdy and it does the job perfectly. I use it to extend the USB based controls on my PC gaming system as well as extend a printer USB connection and it works like a champ. The cord is thick which I like as my cords tend to suffer mechanical damage from their surroundings but thickness means an increase in size/mass along with loss in flexibility. Difficult to know whether the connector ends will be prone to damage such as breakage of the plastic tab inside as some do and based only on examining the ends of the cord I probably would shop around a bit more of this cord if I thought I would be frequently plugging/unplugging it. Not saying it looks bad, just saying it looks in line with the price range. Will update should my current positive opinion change.

I bought 3 of these almost 2 years ago to extend the cable length on my Logitech 920e webcams that I use for live streaming on various platforms. Not much to say, they are cables, the quality is as good or better than anything on Amazon or what you can find at your local PC/Electronics shop. I plugged them in, plugged in my cams, and Wallah!!! They all worked fine from day one up to yesterday when I last streamed. Cables do go bad and sometimes cables come DOA in the package, it's just what it is. The cost on these is minimal, so if I need another cable, or one of them bites the dust down the road, I'll just replace it without a second thought.

Got these Amazon Basics USB-A 3.0 extension cables because I needed more length. What I didn’t expect? The cable’s diameter. It’s like they packed a whole garden hose’s worth of durability into these bad boys. I mean, I knew they’d be sturdy, but this is next-level “built like a tank” territory. If you ever need a cable that could survive a zombie apocalypse, or maybe even tow a small car, congratulations — this is it. Just don’t try to hide it behind your desk unless you want to give the illusion that you’re running a power plant in there. Sure, it’s a bit on the thick side, but hey, at least it won’t break the first time your cat uses it as a chew toy. Overall? Solid cable. Just be ready for the cable equivalent of a protein shake — thick, robust, and unapologetically beefy.

While 6 of them are doing usb 2.0 job, the other are on USB 3.1. Transfer top speed 916MB/s from ramdisk, all other devices that I have are capping under the cables capabilities. So the cables are good enough for the gen 2 in my opinion, despite the length.

Cette rallonge est donc indispensable et change la vie puisqu'elle permet de connecter ce périphérique de stockage sans risque de chute intempestive. La présentation est de bonne facture et laisse augurer de la fiabilité à long terme : connecteurs plaqués or, câble épais et prise femelle gaînée. Il faut préciser que l'utilisation de cette rallonge ne perturbe pas la rapidité des transferts puisque le débit ne subit aucune dégradation notable. Je n'ai pas d'incompatibilité ni de dysfonctionnement à signaler à ce jour. Et ceci à un prix vraiment raisonnable!

USB3.0対応のHDDが手元にあったので購入 値段も安め PCのUSB3.0ポートに接続して試しましたが 特に動作に問題はなく、正常にデータ転送が行われていました。 速度も速い（のではないか）と思います。 ※あくまで体感です。 ケーブルが硬いというレビューを見ましたが 別にそんなに硬いとは感じませんでした。 使い易いです。
