I am looking for Light, first press, molasses, sometimes called Barbados molasses. Is this first press or are they just using the country name?

I contacted the manufacturer for the answer to your question and they responded, "Yes, our Supreme Baking Molasses would be very similar to Barbados Molasses. Barbados usually means the specific type of molasses that comes from Barbados but it has also come to be used for the first press molasses in general as well." Hope this helps!

Can this be used to treat plants?

Never heard of using it in plants.

How does it taste in baked beans?

I used this molasses for ginger cookies, but I am sure that it would taste just as terrific in baked beans

Is there a replacement available for Grandma's Dark Molasses?

Only molasses if found is this I purchased online from Amazon. It is more like Old fashioned molasses. Try in you won’t be disappointed
