Baby Weaning Plate - Bamboo Bunny Suction Plate, Strong Suction (Green)

These plates are fantastic, I originally had one (rabbit design) for my daughter which she still uses at 4 years old. I bought two of these, one in blue and one in green as I've just started weaning my twin boys. The quality is fantastic, the wood is a good quality and easy to clean even in the corners, and the suction is really good and too difficult for baby to pull of themselves. I chose these designs particularly as I liked the ratio of the sections, a bigger section for the main dish and two smaller ones for sides/fruit/yoghurt. I'm also impressed with the size of the plates as I had purchased one previously (more of a flat mat style) which did not fit on my high chair - these would fit on most surfaces as the suction bit underneath is smaller than the plate itself. As I've had one already I know they last very well and cope with multiple washes each day, although they can't go in the dishwasher but that's fine as I always wash all baby's plastic cutlery and bottles by hand anyway. I did a lot of research before choosing this brand as there are lots of bamboo suction plates out there and I am extremely happy with my choice.

Much like many parents out there, I was so excited to start my weaning journey with my little boy. I first spotted this range on Instagram and immediately loved the concept and design. The fox plate, which I did eventually settle on, is adorable. It has three well-defined sections, each one generous enough to fit a suitable portion without the risk of overfeeding or overwhelming your little one. I'm quite interested in nutrition, and so like to ensure half of his meal is made up of fruit and vegetables. For simple meals, I'll pop them in the larger section, and then fill the other two with a protein and a carbohydrate. For more complex meals, as is usually the case now that he is past the 1 year point, I'll place his dinner (think veggie pasta, shepherd's pie, curry, etc) into the larger section, and then use the other sections for a healthy snack and dessert. It's also great for serving snacks, and I can imagine would be particularly useful if your little one does not like their food to touch. The suction cup is much better than the Munchkin bowls that we purchased at the same time, and will usually withstand some plate tugging from a cheeky toddler. I will say, however, that you do need a completely dry surface. If like me you like to wipe the surface before mealtimes, I would recommend doing this well in advance, otherwise baby will be able to slide the plate off the table with ease. Lesson learnt! Overall, I have loved using this product for the past 6 months. It has stood the test of time well, and has never been difficult to clean. I would definitely recommend this over the cheaper Munchkin alternatives.

So when this arrived I had a moment off 'awwww' then 'I thought it would have been bigger' When I unboxed it I was surprised of how small it was. Granted it was for a baby/child but I thought it could last the years if treated well and looked after. First time I used it the suction plate had a few crumbs on and boy this made a difference, it would not stick to the tray so I had to hold it down whilst she learnt to eat. Second time I decided to dish her food out with the suction on a paper towel. The suction then worked brilliant. But after a few uses my baby figured she had to pull the tab to get it off the tray. Also NOTE if you tray has a large lip around it, it may not work as the ears stick out. Baby high chair i have is a bloom fresco and the larger detachable tray has a larger lip that the plate doesnt work with. It however works brilliant on the smaller tray. Foods not to put in it.....blackberries, raspberries,baby curries, anything really that will stain. It will soak in the tiny holes and leave it looking dirty all the time. Now when washing the product I understand not to soak or put it in the dishwasher with it being bamboo, so I hand wash it. Sometime it's the only thing I wash and boy I'm not filling up a sink to wash one things so I do the classic run water and bubble up my sponge.....lets say be careful it's like a spoon and water will go everywhere if it the tap is too powerful or you catch the lip of the plate. Now the sections for food are great, my daughter loves it. She finds it amazing, larger section for her main food ears for pudding and or snack food. I find it somewhat good. If you wanted to put yogurt in one if the ears, pray you baby can get it out with a spoon. I hate wasting food but the design make you waste it unless you you the spoon yourself to get it all. Overall I can see us using this for awhile and I have bought another because of how cute they are but I also think they are pricey for a baby plate. Pros of this product It's cute, Baby loves it I love it Great sectioning compartments Great suction I you get it right. Cons The suction is questionable if you get a grain of dirt on it Its smaller than I thought Do not use stainable fruit or foods. It will stain the little holes of the bamboo and look dirty all the time Washing is a fun game. Ears are difficult to get wet food out of for a baby. And expensive for what it is.

I was so hesitant to order this as its on social media a lot and I thought it was just a fad. This product in the two days ive had it has really simplified my babies meals. For a start the compartments mean i can visually see what shes having an give her a portion, previously i had been using simple bowls and it was really difficult to see how much she was actually eating especially when giving some finger food and some puree etc. This has also encouraged her to eat herself. She was already becoming very difficult being fed purees and would not have them by spoon. However just switching to this plate she picks between the different compartments and it seems like she really enjoys it. Its very well made, feels like a beautiful quality piece, feels solid and like it will last, i have conditioned it with coconut while using the first few times and what i thought would be a chore was fairly quick to do! The suction is amazing....my other bowls don't have this feature! She normally knocks those out my hands or on the floor very easily! Ive now ordered a second design to help with washing/ give a different design! Its yet to be brought back into stock. Suffice to say, if youre hesitating, just buy it!

A lovely looking plate with a very aesthetically pleasing design in terms of animal patters and colour choices. I liked how the portion parts were a larger size whilst also more balanced than many plates in this style. I also liked the presentation as it arrives securely in a box that matched the plastic suction pad. It has been easy to wash and store as well so that's been a massive plus. The only reason it is not 5 stars as the suction seems a little weaker than our other plates as our 10 month old has managed to pull this one off and get to the point of throwing it which she has yet to achieve with others.

What can I say, this is by far the best babies plate I have bought, and I’ve bought a few! It’s eco friendly, naturally anti bacterial for a start which is a massive plus for me. It’s amazingly good quality and none of those nasties you get with some plates at all, no risks there! The functionality is just genius, the plate comprises of a suction ring on the bottom and it’s by far the strongest suction on the market. I have purchased other bowls and plates and my daughter can remove them all! Not this one though! That’s coupled with the fantastic designs which enable functional portion control for the food groups and looking like all sorts of cute animals entices children to eat which is always a bonus. These plates have longevity, ensure you look after it and rub the wood with coconut oil as directed, it will last a long time, it’s not just for babies, the suction can be removed so it can be used long past the throwing stages. It’s hand wash only which isn’t an issue really but I am used to throwing everything in the dishwasher! But going back to hand washing, at least you know it’s clean 😊 I’m buying more that’s for sure!

Not only is it made from all natural bamboo, safer for our little one and better for the environment... it’s also really practical. This plate has definitely helped us with our weaning journey. The different compartments allow us to offer a variety of food and textures, there’s a suction that doesn’t allow him to throw the plate and the adorable face design allows us to make meal times even more engaging by being able to (very quickly) turn meals in to cute faces. Molto bello, molto ben fatto e molto utile. La ventosa è un salvavita per chi come me ha bambini che afferrano improvvisamente il piatto e lo usano come un frisbee. Riesce a stare attaccato per un tempo dignitoso anche al vassoio del seggiolone Stokke (e chi ce l'ha come me sa che non è cosa da poco), se proprio devo trovare un difetto è che la ventosa tende a spingere il piatto verso l'alto perdendo così la presa sul vassoio, ma basta premerlo un pochino sul centro per riagganciare tutto perfettamente.

Notre bébé de 18 mois apprend à manger seul. Cette assiette est jolie, se lave facilement et pour le moment la ventouse fait bien son travail. Un produit à conseiller sans aucun doute !

Une assiette que l'on utilise depuis le début de la diversification alimentaire de mon petit garçon. Ila aujourd'hui deux ans et demi et l'assiette n'a pas bougé. Elle ne passe pas au lave vaisselle donc nous la l'avons a la main en prenant le soin de retirer la ventouse et de bien tout sécher avant de la remettre. Malgres des plats a la bolognaise, l'assiette ne prend pas la couleur et reste intacte. Et la ventouse est top car les enfants n'arrivent pas a retirer l'assiette de la table. Vous pouvez l'acheter sans hésiter.

Cumple la función de sujeción como tal (otra cosa es lo que el bebé manche con sus manitas 😂). Muy bien empacado. Son muy bonitos, tal y como indica, hay que lavar a mano, no microondas ni lavavajillas, por eso igual se le ha estropeado a otras personas.
