This stainless steel bulkhead is a high quality product. That easy to install and looks awesome with no fear of leaks do to tuff rubber washers. The amount of extra threads allows for endless wall thickness fits. The left handed nut is a blessing preventing an accident from happening. I'm planning to use these for the inlet valves on an ugly drum smoker, so sealing fluid in isn't critical. I built rain barrels previously and these bulkhead fittings would have made it easier. I think it's a great deal, and the workmanship was fine. You need to know the outside thread is reversed, so you can't put the flush end out or else when you tighten the inside pipe/fitting/hose bib it will loosen up on you.

This plastic valve requires a 3/4 inch NPT thread, but until now every single stainless bulk head fitting ordered from Amazon had had straight threads (NPS even though the product descriptions read NPT). Hallelujah!!!

The reverse threads made it REALLY convenient. Used it to make a return inlet for hydraulic reservoir. Pleased.

Update 6/10 After tried the adapter on I have to lower the rating again. problem is the slippery nylon seal. You need the friction between the outside fringe and the inner wall of the rain barrel to install it tightly. The slippery nylon seal reduce the friction and make it impossible to tight. To make it worse, once you put a faucet it's impossible to remove it again because of the slippery seal. Now I am stuck and can't take out the adapter and return it. All you need is to replace the nylon seal with a rubber one but it's too late for me... Update 6/7 I went to the home center and learned there are 2 kinds thread - NPT and GHT. The thread inside of this adapter is NPT that will fit a 3/4 faucet. For garden hose you need 3/4 NPT to GHT converter. I upgraded the rating to 4 stars. Original post - I need a fitting to connect 3/4 garden hose to my rain barrel. This adapter seems fit the purpose but when I got it I found the inside thread won't fit standard 3/4 garden hose mail tread. Not sure what to do with it now...

Good solution to convert my Type 1 range hood to a Type 2 condensate hood for my home brewery. I needed a spigot to drain the liquid condensate from the rear pan. Its got threads on the outside and inside. I added an MNPT to barb fitting which goes to a bucket at the end of a boil.

The only issue I had was the low quality surface finish and them being shipped with cheap silicone seals. The seal holds water in but I’d replace it with something else like a slightly thicker, same diameter buna, nitrile, etc. seal and you’ll be good to go. Especially when using with various chemicals and hot liquids. I would carefully question the lifespan of the stock seals. The threads on mine were higher quality but the faces of them were scratched up. Higher quality metal and threading with lower quality parting off causing poor top / front face surface finish. Of course, as with anything made in China, your results may vary.
