Make sure it’s the right adapter
I couldn’t use the adapter as it’s recessed inward - so the plug I wanted to use the adapter for has a protruding sleeve, so this didn’t work as I was hoping & im back to searching for another adapter since I have 2 drills that are 5 plug but need to adapt to a 3

This is Not DMX
Cable is a 3-5 turnaround, using microphone cable....... Recommend something else, this won't be the expected impedance of DMX and will cause all sorts of reflections/data issues on long runs.
