Steelmaster Cash Box with Lock, 1 Each (2212CBGY)

The box seemed promising! It's big enough for even various mails and letter envelops and it's container size is small enough to be stores even in drawers! Will update if anything goes wrong, but I doubt it. It's simple and sturdy for the price you pay. Overall it's not too shabby and does the job!

Works great! Would of been a five star all the way except the lock takes some getting use to and the keys are made from pop cans it seems like. Don't try to force anything cause they'll bend faster then a weed in the wind. Otherwise it works perfect. Just takes a minute to figure out.

Makes a great piggybank for our kids, while daddy and mommy hold the keys. They can use the deposit slot to put in coins and paper money, and have already decorated the outside with various blingables. Plus the kids can't get into each other's banks.I did receive one where the key didn't work. No stars deducted, as Amazon promptly sent a new one that works perfectly.

So I have been in charge of the office snack fund for about 8 months now. I have long suspected that we had a snack fund thief. I don’t mean taking snacks and not paying... I mean taking cash from the box. Let’s just say that we went from not making enough to replenish the snacks... to restocking the pantry, buying birthday cakes, and free monthly breakfasts in under 3 months. 2 thumbs up and 10/10 would recommend.

Slightly cheaper quality than I was expecting but otherwise as described

This is a very cheap product. The metal is thin and would be easy to pry open if someone really wanted to. The lock is of horrible quality and the keys are difficult to use in the lock to lock/unlock the unit. Poorly made and it also just, looks old. For my purpose of keeping cash all in one place it will serve its purpose, but don't expect to use this to be a good option to secure important documents or items in case of a robbery. For security purposes, this would get a 0. But for the purposes of just being a place to keep cash in one place, it works. It also is just a pain to operate and lock/unlock.

This lock box was purchased for bus tours to pass to the passengers to leave tips for the driver and tour guide. It did the job perfectly! It is strong, sturdy, and well built. I would easily purchase this item again without any hesitation.

The closing mechanism is pretty stiff. The lock itself works fine, but the sliding clasp is quite difficult to open.

Functions fine so far, but the lock / key part feels pretty flimsy.Includes two keys in case you lose the first one :)

Nice product, I wish the lock was a little bit tighter.
