Expert opinion, don't buy!!
Nothing against the seller, but the product is substandard. Firstly, this is NO WAY a 1000watt amp... Secondly it sounds terrible unless you use the EQs... Thirdly, if you use said EQs the amp starts to clip, which means... Fourthly, you can't turn it up loud enough to actually enjoy it... Don't waste your money, its a pile of cow doo doo!! Fifthly, I'm a music engineer, so if i say it clips, the sound is poor and the eq is absolutely useless, I'm giving my expert opinion. Better off spending a couple hundred more and get one that actually works and actually is 1000watts, not 150watts pretending to be 1000! Again, this isn't the sellers fault, the product by Skytec is substandard!!

80 watt PSU so not able to produce 300watt
The amplifier may produce a transient of 300 watts but it is actually 40 watts per channel RMS into 4 ohms. 80 watts music power. Therefore the advertisement is false! As a 40w + 40w amplifier it is reasonable. Trading standards wouldn’t be pleased claiming it was 300 watts.

Impossible to connect to existing equipment.
I wanted an amp that I could plug my existing speakers and decks into but this is pointless. Spent over £200 on new speakers cos the old ones had old connectors that wouldn’t fit. New speakers came with cables that also didn’t fit. After emailing supplier, found out that the connector for speakers is bare wire. Nothing in instructions for this and I’m not an electrician. Spent more money on new cables and then found that my decks cables also don’t fit the amp because apparently it has ‘micro Jack’ sockets. Been months trying to upgrade all of my gear to fit this f@!&ing amp and now I can’t even return it cos it’s past the 30 days. Pathetic instructions, pathetic description and wasted a shed load of money for nothing!!!
