why would they put maltodextrin in their product?  It is not good for you.

However, to your point... Maltodextrin can be bad if used more than moderately or if you're a diabetic or have insulin resistance.    This is an answer best gotten directly from the manufacturer. We made the shift a few years ago after looking at nutrient value and wanting the best of the best for our customers.
