Nice quality kettlebell.
I had been looking for a 35-lb kettlebell for a while, to add some additional work to my gym programming. We have a few different brands at the gym, I find some handles to be too thick, and others have a handle that is thinner but wide enough that it hits my legs at the bottom of a swing. A few also have a very rough seam under the handle that can get irritating over the course of many reps, and other have a glossy finish that gets slick if you're sweating. I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality of this product. And since it was a daily deal (and I have Prime for shipping) the price was unbeatable. The matte finish has very slight texture, not enough to feel rough but not so smoothly it's slick. There are no seam lines on the handle and for me it's exactly the width and thickness I would want. As an average sized female I can easily use this for two hand swings with my pinky fingers only wrapping slightly over my ring fingers. The color system would be great in a gym, much more durable than the tape system used at our gym. Since it's only for my personal use it wasn't essential, but if I invest in a 45 lb at some point, it will be easy to differentiate. I highly recommend this product if you're looking for a kb.

Great quality
I'll start by saying this is the very first kettlebell I've ever owned - and it's fantastic! I'm a beginner to KB workouts and fairly out of shape. To start, I ordered the 13 pounder and it's perfect for this stay at home mom looking to get back into fitness. It's just the right weight without being too light or too heavy - great for a beginner in my opinion. Before purchasing I did some research on kettlebells and chose this brand and style for a reason. For a cheaper price I could get something with a vinyl coating but due to reviews, opted for the cast iron for better grip. I tend to sweat a lot and I didn't want to lose my grip and send a 13 pound cannonball flying across the room or onto my foot. The grip on this one is perfect and I've had zero issues with sweat or slippage. I've been training with this weight about a week now and I'm about ready to up my weight, and I will definitely be purchasing this brand and style again.

A big cannon ball with a handle.
Great. I don't know what else you can say about a 53 pound of iron. The coating is very nice. Not too slippery. It is a smooth powder coat. I have a few different types of Kettle bells, but this is the best quality by far. I held off buying this for a while, I am glad I finally bought it. For people just starting out with Kettle bells, I would suggest moving up in stages. If you don't master the movements with a lighter weight these things can really do some damage if you don't know what you are doing. As far as equipment costs go, you are buying just a few Kettle bells which will be much cheaper than an expensive treadmill that will probably end up not being used. You can use this anywhere, bedroom, garage, backyard. This is a great workout program. It will provide you with a functional strength and surprise you.

If you have little bitty hands these are great, if you don't, keep looking.
The handle width, from side to side is to small. I can barely three fingers inside the opening, my pinkies are outside the handle. I'm not a giant, just 6'2" and 220lbs It's really a shame because the build quality is excellent, the finish is nice its a quality product with a design flaw. The 70lb kettle bells at my gym have larger handles, so I know it's a CAP Brand issue. Super bummed...

Smooth handgrip
It's funny, the things Amazon asks you to rate: value for money; comfort; and durability. Value for money? Good. It's a well-shaped rock. Comfort? Good. The handgrip has texture, of course, so it's less slippery, but nothing sharp or protruding. Durability? Good, I think. Could probably use it to pound wooden fence posts (though I don't expect to test that!). This 10-pound kettle bell weighed ten pounds on a bathroom scale with a half-pound resolution. Close enough. Not worried about a half ounce over or under, right?

Flawed; not great quality but okay for the price when on sale
I own an older enamel-coated CAP kettlebell, as well as several by Rogue. The Rogues are much higher quality bells, but their prices have gone up quite a bit over the past few years. The enamel CAP bell recently got chipped in the handle, making it unusable for snatches and some other kettlebell swings. I noticed this powder-coated CAP bell had a big price drop on Amazon recently so I snatched one up (pun) to replace the enamel one. It seems like it will be longer-lasting than the enamel, but it definitely has some production flaws as shown in the pictures - a few notable indentations in the main body and a subtle wave pattern in the handle. These should not affect its usability, but given the flaws I would not recommend these CAP bells at the full retail price (which is close to where the high-quality Rogues were priced several years ago.)

The handle is different from the two kb's I already have; it is thinner. Not a problem, just an adjustment. This is a quality kb.

Excelente Kettlebell, estoy muy conforme con la calidad del producto y creo que vale cada centavo que pague por el. Voy a comprar otras de mayor peso.
