Long Term Review - Very Nice PSU
I used this power supply for a little over a year. I ordered it on May 18th, and I probably got it installed easily before the end of that month with prime delivery and all. Well, I had this power supply running an i5 7600k, 8gb ram, and a gtx 1650. It ran this system awesome for a long time in my opinion. Today marks the day it has died. My HTPC with the above specs can no longer make it into windows with this power supply as it cuts off too early to load windows all the way(I'm using an NVMe drive, mind you). At first I was thinking "oh great, there goes my $150 gpu that now costs $300 thanks to scalpers". But everything is fine. I installed my spare 750w evga supernova I had laying around and the system works just fine again. This $30 cheapo power supply lasted me, what? a year a two months? 14 months of usage for only $30. I had ordered a noctua 80mm fan to replace the one in the power supply, when I had ordered it but I wanted to wait and see if the existing fan had any issues. It didn't seem to have any issues, honestly. Making a higher quality fan would make it last a bit longer(maybe if I had installed that noctua), but then that would drive up the price of the power supply. I think it's a bit too late for the fan installation now as the power supply is whining quite a bit. You really can't beat this psu for the price at all. Even the competing power supplies cost more than it would be to get this and a noctua fan. Noctua is even nice enough to give you a 3pin to 2pin conversion adapter so you don't have to route the fan's cable out of the psu. Also wanna point out that this power supplies fan was indeed the loudest in my computer at idle. CPU is running on a watercooler with a 120mmx40mmx45mm radiator(sometimes gotta do unique stuff with small cases) with three 40mm noctua fans constantly blasting it on full speed. The GTX 1650's fans did get much louder than the power supplies fan while gaming so it wasn't really a burden. Even while streaming the volume of whatever video would drown out the fan noise. If you're looking for a good power supply to get your sff pc up and running, this is the one. Sure, at this point I might get a higher quality power supply, but it sure was worth the 14 months that this $30 one worked.

Replaced a FSP150-50GLT PSU in a Thin Form Factor PC. Fit Perfectly, It's Quiet, and Works Great.
The Apevia PSU worked perfectly (nice and quiet too) and addressed the issue with the PC not powering on. The PC was really dusty inside after being used for years near the floor in a restaurant. I cleaned it thoroughly when the old PSU was removed. The restaurant owner told me the old PC runs faster than it did before (no doubt due to the CPU throttling down due to the heat build-up). As I recall, the original PSU was 150 watts. It's nice having a more powerful PSU although I doubt they will add components to this old machine that would require the extra power. Still, if the old one was borderline sufficient, the replacement will be more than sufficient. It's been about 3 months since installing the Apevia PSU. Given the heavy PC usage, I'm confident this PSU is up to the task and won't hesitate to shop Apevia in the future. Here's a portion of an email I sent to the person who asked me to find a replacement PSU that you might find useful... "What made the search difficult is trying to make sure the unit fit the case width reserved for the PSU. There are two metal standups placed 2.625 inches apart. If the PSU is wider, the PSU will not lie flat on the case bottom. Here are the Apevia PSU dimensions: 80mm x 170mm x 62mm (3.23" x 6.75" x 2.5") - W x L x H The unit actually sits sideways in the case with the fan on the side facing toward the inside of the case. As a result, the 2.5" height is actually the width and the 3.23 width is actually the height. As I mentioned, the case provides a width of 2.625 so it's about 1/8 inch wider, which should be close enough to accommodate the replacement PSU. The back of the PSU has the plug connector on the top left when the PSU is on its side. This matches the old PSU and where the case expects the plug to be located. Additionally, when the PSU is on its side, there is a screw hole at the top middle and two more on the bottom left and right. This also matches what the case needs. I only found 3 PSUs on Amazon that could fit the case. The Apevia was the only PSU that had only 4 and 5 stars. With any luck, the restaurant's PC will be working Thursday night. We just have to hope the issue is the PSU. The current PSU says FSP150-50GLT on it. This size PSU is referred to as a TFX (thin form factor) PSU."

Good replacement TFX power supply for Slim desktop tower PCs; Very quiet
Just installed this today. Ordered this to replace the original 250 watt power supply in a Dell Vostro 200 Slim Tower desktop PC, which finally died after several years. Was very surprised at its weight - it's much lighter than the original. Not sure how that translates to quality or reliability. It's just slightly smaller than the original, which is a good thing. It fit perfectly, and the wires are longer than the original's wires - no issues reaching the connections that needed to be made. Install was super easy, just 3 screws, plug in connectors and you're done. PC powered right up and I was surprised how quiet this power supply runs. The CPU fans run MUCH louder than this power supply. It comes with a rather short power cable, but I chose to use the PC's original power cable. So far, so good, and a great deal for the price paid. The original, if I could find one brand new, would have cost me about $20 more. And this replacement has more connectors and 50 watts more power than the original. If it starts to act up or dies prematurely, I'll try to update this review.

Good TFX form factor, budget price, quiet if set "silent" in the BIOS
The "Slimline" power supply that I bought one year ago (made by Replace Power) finally died. The cooling fan stopped working. Being a TFX form factor, this (of course) limited my choices. This Apevia had okay reviews, and is a reasonable price. So far -- after 1 hr -- it is running fine. It fits in the spot, has the correct cables/connectors, and the cables are long enough for my application. It is definitely not the quietest PSU I've ever had, but for the price I'm okay with it -- I'd probably put it in the mid-range. If you want something really quiet, this isn't it. But if you need a TFX at a budget price, this Apevia may be a decent choice. UPDATE: After a month, I finally sat down and got into the BIOS to set up quiet mode on the PC. Wow, the difference is amazing. Now, if I want to run full graphics mode (i.e. games), I'll have to go back an put it on performance mode. In the meantime, this'll do nicely.

Size and functionality
First time building a PC with a flex power supply. I bought a second one and both were easy because of the size and the modular design. Highly recommend for a compact PC build.

Good replacement power supply for Dell Optiplex 9010
My Optiplex 9010 is getting long in the tooth, so I set up Linux Mint on it to squeeze a little performance out of it. Back on 17 December, the power supply gave out, so I began the search for a replacement. The original supply was rated at 240 watts which seemed a bit lean to me, so I was happy to find this 300 watt unit, priced quite affordably. I ordered it on the 18th and had it on the 21st. It was easy to install, the only change I had to make was running one set of power connectors a little differently. Powered my computer back up and it was happily working again. The fan in the supply is so quiet, I opened the computer back up to make sure it was running (it was). I am very satisfied with my purchase. I do recommend this power supply and this vendor.

Could've Been a Great PS
The PS itself seems heavy enough to indicate its built well!!....And It did fit in my Lenovo M81/91 TFX form factor with no problems!!....BUT!!!....the primary problem was that the Power SATA connectors were crimped into the 4 Pin molex connectors, missing the 3.3vdc line, instead of them being dedicated to the PS source!!....Im like WTF??....ITS MISSING THE 3.3vdc and pins as well on these 2 SATA connectors, which is critical for the HDD and the DVD to run!!...the 3.3 volt rail powers the chipsets on these 2 peripherals!!.....The only 3.3vdc you will get is to the motherboard via the 24 pin power connector, but what good is that, if they dont have that source hard wired into the SATA connectors!!.....therefore reluctantly, I had to return it, which was a shame, as I really needed to upgrade to a higher wattage PS, but couldn't use it do to these problems, which engineering wise from this Manufacturer, Im just dumb founded that they would do this!!....Real shame because its actually a decent PS except for the fact that it wont power your HDD or DVD HW on a Lenovo M81/91 series!! and any other HDD/DVD that require all 5 voltages with all 15 pins!!

Hasn't burned my house down (yet) but don't try your luck.
Used it for an emulation rig that's running a Ryzen 1500x and and an rx550. PSU Works for purpose but is slightly noisy (non issue), has no off switch, and I would not trust this thing to be running 24/7. Also, very limited power connector options. Regular ATX power + an extra 4 pin for the cpu. The rest is a mix of molex and SATA. I know I can't ask much out of a comically cheap 300w PSU but it'd be nice to have at least one 6x pin or something similar to power a GPU if I decided later I needed it.

Easy refund, great seller
It's a great power supply, but I bought the wrong size ( needed a 1U height for a server, this was too tall ) and they refunded me quickly without any hassle!

Great Replacement Power Supply
Arrived ahead of schedule, extremely well packaged. Better than the original power supply not only in watts, but has many more connectors and I can now add my third hdd and 2 gig video card.
