I've tried many other razor blades now, and I keep coming back to these. They have a good balance of sharpness and durability, and seem to be of good quality. There are a few other brands I'll use, but these are among the best I've tried.

They cut well enough, but they tend to grab and pull at the hair a bit more than Derby blades. For reference, I use these in a Leaf razor. It uses 3 single blades like this in a row to mimic a disposable razor. Feather seems to tug the least, but are more expensive. It's a good option if you want to save money and reduce plastic waste.

This was my first attempt at straight-razor shaving. I bought the Dovo shavette along with these blades. At first I was underwhelmed and thought I wouldn't use them again. They nicked my face and were incredibly sharp. I spoke to my barber who swears by these and he said, "your face hasn't gotten used to the straight razor yet and you haven't developed the proper technique yet." I thought I had perfected my technique and gave my face enough time (about a month), but apparently I was just being impatient. It took me a good 3 months to figure out that without noticing it, the angle of the razor was constantly shifting in my hands. This is something you don't hear about in the tutorials, but let me tell you... it's a matter of a great shave and a hack job! The shavette is made from aluminum and is incredibly light-weight, which can be good or bad depending on your technique. For me, I'd like a little more heft, but after getting a good feel for it, it's my go-to razor. I love this razor because the blades last longer and are cheaper than anything else you can find and believe it or not, prevent razor-burn, rashes, and bumps way better than any cheapy plastic multi-foil gellette fuzion razors, etc. Plus, who in the right mind would ever pay $4/cartridge? My regimen is to shave right after a hot shower, use a brush with the best shave soap, and shave with the grain both sides of my face, then my upper lip, then my chin. I use very light pressure and just take off the very thick stubborn beard. Then I go back over everything with my double-edge safety razor and use that to do my neck. I find this the best for me. I never get any nicks and the straight razor keeps my double edge razors sharper for a lot longer. Now I go 1-2 months before I need to replace a single blade, which is amazing since I have a fast-growing thick beard. I used to destroy those cheap fake razors in a single shave, so now I have the best shave ever. My advice: 1) Don't expect a baby-smooth shave out of the gate... You have to first perfect your technique and lower your expectations. If you never got a perfect shave before, nothing will change that except your products, prep, and technique. 2) At first, do not shave your entire face with it, stay away from your chin and neck. Stick with flat surfaces like your cheeks. Only after a couple months and your very comfortable move onto your upper lip, then practice under the chin. Very last is your actual chin. 3) Don't be afraid to try it out! The best thing about the shavette and these razors is that it's so cheap, so who cares if you don't earn an extra "man-card" LOL! 4) There's no better satisfaction than learning this manly ritual. Once you do, you'll feel obligated to pass it onto your plastic cartridge friends who think the dollar shave club and light beer are awesome, j/k : ) 5) Now that you've mastered the art with a shavette, it's time to look for the holy grail of razors and invest in a real "cut-throat" straight edge razor! Cost: Even if you buy a $200 razor handle to go with these you will still be spending less than on the big name razors. Not only are they inexpensive but they do a fantastic job. I've had the same box of razors for over a year and a half and it still has plenty of blades to go. Sharpness: My standard routine is twice a week shaving (unless there is some sort of big to-do on Tuesday) and I make a point to change the blade weekly. Even with 3 days of growth the blades stay sharp enough to avoid nicks, though admittedly trying to push it more than that is a bad idea. If for some reason I switch to a daily routine I still get a solid week of shaves from each blade before having to discard. Because they are razors I've also used them to cut all sorts of tags, shirts strings, and other random stuff (after shaving with them) and had no issues at all. Quality: The miniature box and individual wrapping is all that is needed to keep a blade safe. They mostly sit in a medicine cabinet with stints on the counter or in a travel bag. I've yet to open a single blade that looks anything but brand new - no rust, dulling, or issues even though the box has gotten light water splashed on it a few times. Other: Set aside the price for a minute and consider how much room 100 of the Quattro or Mach 3 blades would take up! This box of 100 occupies that space of about 4 of them. You'll have room and money for all sorts of other accessories.

I was looking for some blades for a Dovo Shavette (a straight-razor styled device that holds these as replaceable blades) that my sister gave me for Christmas a while back. The Dovo blades that came with the Shavette were great and would last me about five to seven solid shaves before they started getting noticeably dull. The great reviews (and relatively low price) here for the Shark blades prompted me to give them a try. The Shark blades are good, but I was a bit disappointed overall. In comparison with the Dovo blades, the Shark blades are thinner and go dull much quicker. I was, at best, able to get two good shaves out of a blade. After that, I started noticing significantly more hair tugging, and I would wind up with razor burn or other red splotchy skin irritation. (In all fairness, I have pretty sensitive skin.) The overall performance of the Shark blades during those shaves, while satisfactory, was still noticeably a step down from that of the Dovo blades. When considering whether or not to get this, bulk value is really the main selling point. The Shark blades are listed here as "for Professional Barber Razors," and I think they would be fine inexpensive purchase for professional barbers who only need single-use blades. But when I finally run out of these Shark blades (in about three months or so), I will definitely be trying out something else.

Plus précisément, pour la barbe, ces lames sont parfaites pour tout ceux qui ont un poil assez souple, et une peau sujette aux irritations. _ Les lames arrivent dans un paquet minimaliste et plutôt propre esthétiquement _ Le paquet contient 100 lames toutes protégées par des petits papiers que vous pouvez voir sur les photos _ Chaque lame peut faire entre 1 a 3 utilisations ( Pas par souci de coupant, mais plutôt d'hygiène a mon avis, car elles peuvent durer bien plus ) et sont déjà coupées en 2. _ Le prix est minime, pour 100 lames, vous avez donc 100 utilisations, en vous rasant tout les 2/3 jours vous en avez donc pour 15 lames par mois a peu près, autrement dis, vous en avez presque pour toute une année de lames en une commande !
