Pen 31569 FriXion Ball Erasable & Refillable Gel Ink Stick Pens, Fine Point, Assorted Color Inks, 8-Pack Pouch

I have been using the FriXion line of products since I discovered some in a local stationery store. It is a wonderful product for a decent price - the best in its class. My friends and colleagues were pleasantly surprised with the pens (and the FriXion highlighters) when they saw for themselves how well it writes (or highlights) and how well it erases. Pros: -- The ink is smooth, and the erasing is near-complete. Sometimes, the ink may leave smudges, and may not clean completely, but you can use an iron to completely remove it. -- This product is very good for your textbooks, storybooks, and any books that you would want to annotate, yet would want it to remain 'new' after usage. This is especially good for those who would want to resell the books after using in school or college. You can either use the erasing tip at the back of the pen, or what I do is iron the book at a low temperature (higher than the magical temperature of 60 degrees Celsius or 140 degrees Fahrenheit) for quick erase of the book. (May possibly used for borrowed books, but be careful in case things go wrong) -- The package is of a color spectrum, especially useful for various note taking and annotation, or even designing. -- Good for cross-word or Sudoku. Cons: -- Since the ink is heat sensitive, be VERY careful. Leaving in the car, or a hot day out in the Sun with your notes (in your bag or otherwise) may erase all the written notes using these pens. -- Also be careful if you like to put hot stuff (like coffee) on your notes, because I have absentmindedly done it before, and some of the notes below were gone. -- Although it is supposed to erase the ink, what it does is to change color to transparent at (60 degrees Celsius or 140 degrees Fahrenheit). So what you wrote is still there, and on closer look, you can still see make out what you wrote. Might not be suitable if you don't want others to see what you wrote. -- Not recommended for sewing because it changes color to transparent through heat, and the residue gets left behind on the cloths/clothes. (ie. it is still there, just that it is now transparent, and I am not sure if it is washable) Conclusion: Overall a great solid product for a decent price. Just don't be careless of the heat, and what you don't want others to see. It is rare to get this product outside of Amazon, so take the opportunity to get this wonderful product.

I love using these to take notes and jot stuff down at work. The ink is flows very smoothly, which seems to improve my handwriting 🤔. The erase ability is a bonus that makes these both practical and fun—who doesn’t like making irrelevant doodles disappear! It isn’t perfect for erasure—especially if you apply a lot of ink in one area, but it’s better than any other erasable ink I’ve used.

These are some of my favorite pens. Pilot makes great pens. I tried another brand of erasable pens in the past and they always left smudges when erasing. These are very comfortable to write with. I loved taking notes in college with these. I was able to make my notes all colorful and when I made a mistake I could erase without leaving a trace. I love these pens so much, I bought several packs of them. These erase with friction which causes heat so make sure not to leave any notebooks or anything with this ink on pages in hot vehicles or all of the ink will disappear. I love everything about these pens. These FriXion erasable pens are awesome!

I LOVED these pens. I am very particular on my pens as I write everything daily by hand. Living in California though with 110+F summers. These pens although very good, long-lasting & erase very well(better than any eraseable pen I've used before) ; BUT ARE NOT FOR HIGH HEAT SETTINGS!. My office is outside under shade. After returning from a 3 day weekend camping trip, my pens were USELESS. I was so disappointed, it had not even gotten to the high 110s yet, it was average 103F that weekend. All my work that I had written was also lost/erased/vanished. I had no clue or warning heat would erase them or ruin the Ink. I had purchased this set along with the large 24 ct multi-color cap style eraseables. ALL were lost & over 40 pages in my black storage clip board were left with just an impression of what was written. I had to spend hours taking a pencil to shade in the papers to see what was written. If there was a caution in the packaging or something I would have been more prepared. I love Pilot products. I've now switched to the Precise editions, hoping they last. I had 1 Precise V3 I found in black from an unit auction I purchased. Since it's ran out I have been unable to find that size anywhere since. I love ultra fine & mirco fine points for legible small writing I have to do sometimes in very tiny margins. I hope to be able to have a setting these pens are more beneficial to me. But in the mean time I can't risk my work being erased in a weekend. Especially not knowing what temperature it does this at. The pens are too expensive to be wasted without getting their full use out of them.

These are the smoothest and cleanest writing erasable pens I've had, and I'm very picky with my pens. They don't bleed through the paper, dry very fast and erase nicely without smearing. All the colors are bold and bright except the brown one, but it's still nice Would be nice if the green was a darker green though, since the rest are all on the darker side. Still love them and they're now my favorite pens to use! Definitely recommend!

Tried all erasable pens when 1st grade teacher asked for some. FriXion pens are the clear winner and we never looked back! We have bought this 36-pack for Back-To-School and other variations (assorted colors, blue 12-pack 12 times, over 250 in total). So many uses! Journaling, school note taking / studying, quilting, budgeting! FriXion pens write smoothly, ink is smudge-free (great for a lefty), and most of all erases cleanly. NOTE: ink becomes invisible with heat. Don't panic, a few minutes in a fridge makes the ink reappear.

I ordered these pens to use with my Rocketbook. I got tired of my collection of notebooks that I never look at again once I learn my material. I purchased the 8 pack which came with brown, blue, black, green, purple, pink, red, and orange. All the colors so far are bold and write nicely. You don't have to scribble like other pens to get the ink to start flowing. The opposite end from the writing tip is an eraser that works very well in the rocket book and regular paper. It won't tear your notebooks. I provided two pictures so you can see how my regular camera picks up the colors vs how the rocket book app picks up the color. I haven't come across many cons but one downside is the price $17.99 for 8 pens is steep but they are a niche product so I guess it's expected. The other slight issue is specific to the rocket book. You have to make sure to give the ink a little time to dry before turning the page or moving your hand across the page because you can smudge the ink. It doesn't do this on normal notebook paper. I'm sure it's because of the paper differences. I think these pens are ideal for students or people who need to brainstorm, draft ideas or just someone who wants to save on white out.

I use mine in a smart notebook (not Rocketbook as that was a disappointment) and they work great. Writes smoothly, cleanly, lasts on page for months and washes away clean. Bought these over a year ago and just now running out of ink in 1 of the pens. I rotate the pen color on my notebook from meeting to meeting so I can clearly see the break in notes. They scan in well (Google Scan) once I change the setting to color. If you look close enough on my smart pages you can see the outline of old writing, but that is probably more to my not cleaning the pages often enough, but even w how long I go between cleanings the ink still comes off well and pages look and write great. The only bad thing I can say is that I think my case was crushed at some point because most of my caps had cracks and would not stay on the pen. I put tape around the ends and there is enough tension to hold in place.

First, don’t use them foe any legal documents. The warning is missing on these pens as the local shop sells these pens with that warning however they are quite expensive. This was a good deal for multi color pack

I found it because it pair with the rock book.It is really match.can easily write it smoothly with the right size.and it is not expensive.Highly recommend it.
