First of all this is a great product. The colour in images, like others have stated, is indeed very different to the actual colour of the paint, which has misled people. If you are looking for a bone colour paint this is not the product for you, as it is not a bone colour; however, it is very effective at simulating shadows and grime you might find on old bones - which is its purpose. Paint this stuff directly on to a white primed skeleton miniature to see it work its magic, similar to a wash but more effective. It really is a great product.

Colour is not same as all photos I've seen? Will be buying full set so no point complaining now, maybe it drys the colour that's shown? Happy with service as the bottle is correct and it arrived on time

Paint colour is different then on picture, very dark.

If you want a bone color, get wraithbone! Get this if you want to put the shading effect OVER the bone color!Love these citadel skulls! I left them on the stencil things, painted them w citadel wraithbone with a cheap makeup brush, then coated them in seraphim sepia/skeleton horde (these are practically the same), or blood for the blood god (all citadel paints), using the same cheap brush, making sure to clean it first and to get into the eye sockets.My plans are to put them in dice. I hear they float a bit, though, so I may have to do layers or resin orb in dice.
