Convenient, portable, fun - woo hoo!
This brightly colored, easily wiped "desk" holds all your child's art supplies - such as pens, crayons, and paper in one convenient place. What we love:1) colors (bright)2) handles (goes easily from car to restaurant)3) pockets (stores easily and neatly)4) wipes easily (remember those biter books your toddler had as a baby?)What we don't love:1) not too sturdy (e.g. you can't eat on it) which may give some problems to kids in certain large car seats (where it won't rest on their laps but on the sides instead)2) price - it's fluctuating, but is seems like it should be priced around twelve macaroons for the basic quality (may not be durable for years)3) gets bulky if kids pack it unevenlyOverall - I would easily recommend this. Additionally, it makes a great present packaged with some basics. We love using it with these: Go Paint Basics Set, Twistables Erasable Colored Pencils, 12 Assorted Colors/pack, Rainbow Wikki Set 24pc in 6 Colors!, and of course Color Wonder Deluxe Set.

Highly recommended for any kids who likes to draw!
This is a great traveling art studio pack! My kids love to draw so we bring this everywhere we go.The cushion in the bottom makes it comfortable on top of her laps and keeps it secure. The zipper bags on the sides are easy for even my 1.5 yr old boy to open and close. My only problem is that the letter size papers aren't kept too securely with the red bands in four corners.. (but they don't easily fall out)This is highly recommended for anyone with kids who loves to draw~!

Almost Perfect For On The Go Fun
I would really like to give this product 4.5 stars, but it is very good, so I gave it five stars. The pockets have plenty of room for a box of crayons or washable markers. The back of the lap pad is nicely cushioned with beads, so it conforms to little laps. The pockets fold in the back and are secured together with a hook and loop closure, so they are not flapping around. There is a nice carrying handle. My only complaint is that it is a little too big. It does not fit inside my son's preschool sized backpack. Also, we usually use a lined manuscript tablet that is 11.75" x 7". The tablet fits under two of the four corner elastic pieces. Overall, very good, not perfect. I would still recommend this product.

Great for road trip
Kids liked these. They ate food and drew with paper and used their play doh on these desks. The desks fit nice w bulky car seats. My 5 and 8 year old put their own crayons and markers into the pockets and used these for crafts and reading and coloring on an 18 hour trip. Highly recommend. Also soft so won’t be a terrible projectile in a hard stop or crash provided your out the markers up and zip them up.

Can't store paper in it but works well as a lap desk and crayon holder.
Works well as a desk to color in the car for my 50 pound 5 year old. The storage pockets for crayons are nice so crayons aren't rolling all over the place but they could be a little bigger. It can be hard to get things in and out if you use colored pencils instead of crayons. We have no problem with the desk top. It seems hard enough for its purpose. My only gripe is that you cannot store any paper in the part that velcro closes on the bottom. I thought that was a feature but I guess it's just meant to make it easier to carry. There is not a lip or little pocket built in. So there is nothing to keep a little spiral or loose paper from falling right out as soon as you grab the handle and try to carry it vertically. And paper won't stay on the top elastic bands either. So I am back to trying to figure out where to keep paper so she can reach it from her car seat. If they fixed that it would be a perfect solution for the car to a kid who loves to draw. Would probably please a child only up to age 8 or 9 max.

Great To-Go Desk for the Little Artist!
It's very user-friendly for my then 4-year-old (now approaching 7-year-old). It keeps her entertained and engaged during some of our public transit. I consider the construction is of fairly good quality. It may not have withheld heavy abuses like some toy meant to be. But it is very fine for our purpose, ---drawing and keeping all the crayons/markers in place securely.

Great for a road trip
This is really handy for car trips. The pockets with zips on the side are great for storing crayons, colored pencils, snacks or little toys. My 4 year old was able to hold it in his lap in his car seat to do some drawing on a road trip, just what we wanted it for!

Helped the long car ride
I was pleased with this product. We bought a heavier weight 9x12 drawing pad at Michaels, removed the top cover and attached it to the top with the elastic straps. We put markers in one pocket and twistable crayons in the other. The grand-kids enjoyed drawing and (very important) it kept most of the markers from falling on the floor. The design worked well with both a toddler car seat and a booster seat. We now keep them in the car. The two year old could zip open and close the pockets on her own.
