This worked exceptionally well. The bike held on sturdy and it didn't feel like it'll fall off. It only took about 10 minutes to set up the first time, and its actually very easy to take down and get access to your truck. I had to take it down a few times throughout the trip but its so easy that I just got quicker putting it up and down. For comparison, this is a Honda Fit with a hatchback and we drove nearly 1000 miles. There was one time where it titled aggressively because of a large bump but the straps (because I set them up the right way) held the bike and mount to the car with more than enough time for me to fix it at my next stop. I cannot recommend this enough, and my only regret is not getting this sooner for bike rides!

This rack is all you need! It’s affordable, compact, and so easy to install. I honestly cannot recommend it enough. I finally own a bike thanks to this rack! My car doesn’t have a hatchback, so I kept hesitating to buy a bike because I wasn’t sure how I would transport it. This rack completely solved that problem, and I’m so happy with it! I can even open my trunk with the rack still attached. Definitely one of my best purchases!

This is a very well-built bike rack and I'm going to use it for a 6 hour road trip with 3 bikes. I tested it with a short trip to a local trail with two bikes and it performed well. Set-up was fairly easy. I just followed the directions and it was pretty simple to attach to my Honda CRV. Some reviewers complained about the metal hooks, but I found that they had a smooth coating on them that should keep you from scratching up your car in any way. Just be somewhat careful when attaching. Traveling to the trail I noticed a bit of a "squeaky" noise coming from the rack. I believe that may have been caused by the soft rack support "bumper" rubbing on the rear car window. A slight repositioning of the bikes for the return trip seemed to make this go away. I noticed no shifting or problems with the rack once we got to the trail. The bikes were still securely attached and I had even made some quick starts and stops and a few hard turns, but the bikes were solid. The only thing I don't like is the fasteners that hold the bikes onto the rack. Other racks I've used have a rubber "latch" that is quick and easy to lock the bike onto the rack. These holders require you to thread the strap through and back to attach the bike. It's not terrible, but kind of a pain to do something that used to take seconds and now takes minutes. Oh well. It's not a terrible drawback, but I knocked off one star for that design deficiency. Removal of the rack was quite easy. For each strap, simply lifting the latch on each strap seems to loosen it sufficiently to remove the hook from the car. The unit doesn't take up much space when removed from your car, so that's a big plus too. Overall this is a great value for the price. I recommend this rack for all your biking needs.

This is a high-quality bike rack made from excellent materials. It’s secures your bikes firmly to the rack. The rack itself anchors well against the car. It is very sturdy. although it is a four bike rack and it is not rated for E bikes I placed my 64 lb, E bike in the slot closest to the car and another bike in the next slot and had no trouble driving 50 miles at 75 miles an hour along the highway. No trouble managing the roads in the park. The car stayed well protected with no signs of any damage from the bike rack.The bike rack stayed secure no issues in general. It’s always best to follow the manufacturers recommendations. But since I only had two bikes on the four bike rack I was carrying much less weight than what it was rated for if it had four bikes. And the weight was kept on the rack closest to the car.The design Once you fit it to the car makes it very easy to place and remove. The bike racks six support attachments to your vehicle makes it very secure. I placed it on a 2016 Subaru outback it worked fabulously well. Care was taken in designing this bike rack to help prevent any damage to the car.In short it is high-quality very stable. You’ll be happy with the purchase. Just buy it.

The first installation is easily the most frustrating part. When I first opened the box. I was very nervous that I was going to need a Boy Scout to help me attach it to my car. I settled for my roommate. It looks complicated when you first attempt to figure where every one of the flopping tentacle-like straps go. Then you press the rack's padded bars against your car and strap the hooks onto your trunk or hatchback. The product description brags about how initial assembly shouldn't take more than a few seconds, which isn't especially flattering to my skills. The first assembly is easily the most frustrating part. Took me about five minutes to discover exactly what goes where and how. Only about a minute of that time was spent crying and ruing existence. The second time you put it on takes about thirty seconds. Your straps are already at about the right length and your muscle memory will compensate for your general inability to attach things. Putting bicycles on there is pretty easy. Lift them up and into the little cradles. Then those are a simple strap on each side and it holds it secure. Repeat these steps for however many bicycles you plan to attach (which really maxes out at three total). I would recommend buying bungee cables to secure your front tire so that the handlebar stays stationary. Pros: 1. I am terribly uncoordinated at these types of things. And I have managed to get my assembly time down to about 29 seconds. If I can make this thing stay on my car, then your dog probably could too. 2. It's super compact. When I'm not using it. It fits really well inside my trunk. 3. The price. I was initially going to buy a much more expensive one, but I decided to give this one a chance. It has worked tremendously for my needs. 4. It holds very securely on the back of my Chevy Cobalt. I never have to worry about it. Cons: 1. The instructions are not very intuitive or helpful. It ends up being more guesswork than I'm sure they intended. 2. It looks very daunting at first. But once you attach it once. It's never difficult again.

Buy this, NOW. Don’t waste your money on the expensive, name brand racks. This took me maybe 5 min to set up. I ordered rubber pads to protect my car from the metal hook, stabilizer thingys. Very sturdy and worth it! Ignore the dangling straps, I should have wrapped them before taking a pic. You will be happy with this, trust me!

I used it on my grand highlander SUV for my kids big bikes I drove a few hours it was perfect n the car even it on the box that is not for my car ... It was easy to attached to the car and easy to put the bikes on it was a easy ride and stable

Tenía dudas si la primera bici (mtb 26") pegaría del para choques, maletero, pero no lo hace queda a una distancia prudente. En las imágenes 1 Talla M rin 26, 1 L rin 29 y una XXL rin 29. Se ajusta perfecto al maletero de mi Mazda 6, fácil de tensar. Solo no me gustó no trae una protección de goma el las L metálicas con las que se ajusta al auto (las fabricaré cortando una vieja cámara de bicicleta). Me falta probar rodando, no luce que pueda tomar curvas fuertes a alta velocidad sinnriesgo de perder las bicis, pero no lo puedo asegurar, aun no tomo carretera. Retroceder es dificil ya que en los espejos no se logra ver y menos en la cámara de reversa, pero si van tres bicis llevas copilotos que te pueden apoyar. No olvides guardar en el maletero lo que llevarás antes o deberás hacerlo por los respaldos de los asientos. Revisaré la opinón luego de viajar.
