If you dont have the time to make them yourself, then it is worth it.
I needed patch cables in a hurry, and I didnt have time to make them myself. Normally, I would not purchase any length of cable - as I have the tools and knowledge to make my own ethernet cables. However, in a pinch...this certainly saved me hours of effort making them.All cables passed data through them using a cable tester, and I've had no connectivity issues since connecting most of them.
