So glad to have this movie in my possession!! Used to love this movie as a kid!!

3rd graders loved it!

Fun movie with some great messages - “Be True to Yourself” being the main message. Music and characters are appealing to all ages! I show this to our 3rd graders when they have the their jump rope unit in PE class. It’s always a hit!

Came in perfect condition and a great addition to my movie collection.

This movie won't win any oscars, but it's great for what it is, a great family film. It's so hard to find movies that all of my children (ages 2-10) will sit down and watch and that WE feel good about them watching. This is one of those movies. Made in the same mold as High School Musical, I hope Disney continues to pump out these type of movies. They're slightly cheesy, but a refreshing change from many movies marketed today for kids.

This DVD was a gift for my wife, who is one of the "Jump In" fans in this house. I don't have quite the enthusiasm for this movie that they do, which leads me to believe that it is something of a "chick flick."A tight plot, engaging characters, and quick pace put this show several notches above "viewable."I enjoyed the story of a boy learning how to deal with conflicting demands and responsibilities.The jump-rope contest choreography is impressive, and helps make this DVD a good buy, although sports purists might question the fusion of jump-rope tricks and boxing in another scene.Disney Studios seems to be re-discovering the bourgeois inhibitions that made it a global success, so those who require relevance, naughty words, and people with the self-control of an ADHD tomcat in their entertainment will be sorely disappointed in "Jump In." Aside from these deficiencies, this is a highly entertaining musical.

Purchased the cd for the gym teacher at school so the kids would have something to jump to when they did the Jump Rope for Heart. Was a great time. I then purchased the movie for my daughter who just fell in love with all the moves they do. I even enjoyed it. Would recommmend

I enjoyed jumping rope especially double dutch on my neighborhood street in Washington,D.C. now more than a half century ago. It's wonderful to be able to share a contemporary look at this skill/game/sport with my now 8 year old boy and girl twin grandkids. The film was appropriate in so many ways espcially raising and dispelling some of the prevelant gender role stereotypes. Joyce

„Jump In“ ist ein Disney Channel Original Movie, in der Hauptrolle Corbin Bleu. In diesem Film gibt es sehr schöne akrobatische Einlagen und super Musik. Die Geschichte ist sehr simpel und deswegen so gut. Es geht um Izzy Daniels (Corbin Bleu) der sich zuerst als Macho präsentiert und dann nach und nach diese Einstellung ablegt. Am Anfang ist ein Boxer, am Ende des Films ist er in einem „Double Dutch“ – Team. Zuerst kümmert er sich darum was die Anderen über ihn denken und danach lässt er die Anderen denken was sie wollen und macht was er will. Und das ist die Aussage des Films „Man soll machen was man will und sich nicht drum kümmern was andere sagen.“ Mein Fazit ist der Film ist einfach genial und ich kann ihn mir immer wieder ansehen.

Lots of fun to watchArrived before time

The film we have seen on TV and my girls loved it. I am sure the DVD is fine but as it was a US import we were unable to watch with our DVD. Not the sellers fault as it is stated as such but you might want to check it is compatible with your own DVD player before purchase.
