Whilst I’ve only used this on a couple of occasions, it’s been very easy to put together and has proved incredibly comfortable and far better than an air mattress on the floor. It’s not super wide, but perfectly adequate for a normally size person (I’m 13.5 stone and 5’10” which i’m not saying is normal but it’s perfect bed for me).The combination of size and weight plus comfort is perfect for Motorbike riding. if I lost it, I definitely buy the same again. I was looking at the Hook version and I’ve no idea if that is better, but this is certainly perfect for my requirements.

I have now used this bed twice, once for a duration of three nights and the other for two, and I am very happy with it. The legs were a little difficult to attach to the frame at first, but if you follow the technique used in the video you shouldn't have a problem. Yes, they are stiff to snap to the frame, but if you turn the bed on its side, snap the leg to the lower frame first then use your bodyweight to press down from above and snap the top part in last it makes their insertion easy, and that stiffness is good as it is what gives the fabric the rigidity it needs. The poles are more than strong enough to cope with this so don't be too gentle. I am 5' 7" tall and weigh 87kg. At all times I found it plenty strong enough and stable for my needs, even when sitting on the edge in the morning. At no time did the bed move or tip. Comfort is fine though I did lay a wool blanket over the bed, as my shoulders are quite wide, so this gave me plenty of comfort from the edge of the frame. Packing down is quick and easy, and all fits back in the same bag without any issue if you take your time, roll the main poles up with the fabric, insert that first then pack a couple of the legs with the feet inserted down and then the others with them up. The small pack down size and weight are perfect for easy carriage. For the price this is a quality bed and I can thoroughly recommend.

Bought this for festivals. Fits in rucksack OK. Easy to assemble and light. Comfortable. Definitely beats sleeping on a 1 inch thick piece of foam on the ground

If only we could leave a 10 star review..This bed is easy to out together and take apart. Stores small and easily when nothing use. It's been used twice now and both times were super comfortable and felt nice and secure, both with and without a SIM on topBest part? Their customer service. One of the poles had bent and twisted a small bit. A new pole would have easily solved the issue, but instead within 48hours or reporting we had a new bed on our doorstep.Will definitely be investing in ones for the rest of the family with our various camping trips. Awesome product!

Only used once, but impressed with it so far. Very lightweight and super simple to put together. Went to a festival and spent 2 nights using the bed. Very Sturdy and comfortable. I’d even purchased a thin inflatable mattress but quickly realised it was more comfy just on the bed alone.I’m not a small chap, nor that young these days, but found this bed ideal for festival campsite. So much better than previous inflatable beds that just never stayed up!

Had this for a year or so. Used by my 12 YO on multiple camping trips. The bed functions very well in most respects. It’s light, folds down small, and fits into its supplied bag easily enough. It’s quite straightforward to put together (I’m really struggling to understand the negative comments in this respect), with assembly taking about 5 minutes (when new - see below). Although I don’t use it, I have tried it and it seemed both comfortable and study enough for my, shall we say, generous frame.My only criticism is that, with age, the short aluminium tubes used to join the side poles have started to slip inside the poles very easily and are a bit of a PITA to extract (small screw driver or tent peg sorts it). This, annoyingly, now lengthens an otherwise short setup time! Because, once the side tubes are joined, you can’t necessarily see how far the aluminium tubes have slid inside, there’s also a reasonable possibility of failure in use, as happened on a recent trip. While an attempt has been made to crimp the offending tubes into place, this really hasn’t survived regular use. OK, 10 minutes with a small drill and a rivet gun has solved this problem permanently, but TBH, it really could and should have been sorted at the design/manufacturing stage. If it wasn’t so good in other respects I’d have knocked this down to two stars.

Like many cot beds, the long poles are supposed to tuck in to pockets to be held in place. However, the build quality is so poor that the tolerances are off, and only one of the poles on mine was actually able to do this. So, not possible to put together.

Bottom Line: The FE Active Folding Camping Cot let me get GREAT night's sleep, ever night, for 5 consecutive nights on my last motorcycle camping trip through the TN and NC mountains. I don't review products often but this one deserves 6 stars!Summary: My 62-year-old back was letting me know that if I intended to keep tent camping from a motorcycle, an upgrade was needed for my sleep setup. I already own a good sleeping pad and decided that the next step was to get it off the ground. After a bit of research, I found this cot and am extremely happy with my purchase! After 9 hours of riding I set up camp and got 7+ hours of high-quality sleep. I woke up refreshed and my back felt great. The next day I rode another 8 hours to the next camp site where I got another great night's sleep, same thing the next night, and the next... by the 4th night this cot became a permanent part of my camping gear.Details: I ordered the cot with enough time to learn how to set it up and make sure it fit in my Marmot 3P Tungsten tent. My initial impressions were: 1) the aluminum tubing is sturdy, 2) the man-made fabric is tough and won't stretch if it gets wet, 3) the seams are well stitched and, 4) it requires some thoughtfully placed body weight to set up.Setup\takedown is easily done outside of the tent, it's a bit more difficult when you have to do it inside a low ceiling tent because it's raining out. Once setup, the cot fabric stretches tight and provides a firm foundation for a sleeping pad. I sleep on my side and back and this cot provided ample room for me to be very comfortable, which ever position I ended up in.The cot added about 5 minutes to my tent setup and ~7 when breaking camp. It re-packed nicely into its storage pouch. The cot's ten plastic feet are wide and provide good weight distribution. If you don't set your tent up on sharp rocks, they shouldn't wear out the tent's ground pad or floor.

Le concept est bon, le poids est particulièrement léger et l'ensemble est confortable. Malheureusement, les barres de pieds sont tordues après 5 utilisations. Je fais 90 kg et le matériel est normalement conçu pour une personne de 110 Kg max. Décevant.
