Sony Playstation 3 160GB System (Renewed)

Okay so normally I would never buy anything electronic such as computers, laptops, game consoles, or TVs renewed or refurbished due to previously negative experiences. But I had to buy this in a pinch for a Christmas gift, because nobody is selling these anymore, naturally I went on Amazon found this and crossed my fingers. It’s literally just like brand new!! Very surprised and pleased!! Online capabilities work, WiFi, the store accepts dvds game discs, etc. usb ports are perfect. Absolutely nothing wrong with it minus a very few cosmetic flaws but I could care less. Playing this everyday almost for hours since then. Still have yet to experience any issues, fair price. Could’ve been a tad bit lower. Overall 100% satisfied. By the way, you’re going to want a replacement controller instead of the one provided. It’s not exactly built for long term use mine stopped working and taking a charge.

I wanted to give the Amazon Renewed program a chance for a big purchase like a PS3, but this purchase was a complete headache from the moment I unboxed it. First, the HDMI cord included in the packaging was completely dead and didn't transmit any signal at all. Figuring it might just be a bad cable, I hooked the console up using my own personal, HDMI cord. The console finally displayed a picture, but the entire screen had a persistent green tint that was impossible to get rid of through any display or TV settings. Thinking it might be an issue with the HDMI port on the console, I tried using an AV multi-out to HDMI converter that I use for my PS2. Not only did the green tint remain, but now the display was completely ruined by green lines in columns all over the screen. To top it all off, the console itself has a serious power defect. When trying to shut it down normally, it freezes up and refuses to power off—the only way to turn the system off is to physically yank the power cord out of the wall. Refurbished should mean tested and working. This unit clearly missed any kind of quality control check. Returning this immediately. Save your money and look elsewhere.

good console came with the original controller working great but i would not consider it as excellent condition the console definitely have some scratches on the sides and especially on the bottom

The system worked very well I did not have any troubles with it it plays all my PS3 games on my discs are working in it I'm very happy with this item

Bueno No se Por Donde empezar Pero Empezare Por La compra Primero que nada la consola Trae 120 GB no 160 GB No entiendo Porque amazon Muestra 160 GB Cuando no los trae #2 Mando Pirata No es Un Control Original #3 MALAS CONDICIONES DE LA CONSOLA : VIENE LLENA DE POLVO Y MUGROS EL COVER DE PLÁSTICO RAYADO Y EN LA PARTE DE ABAJO TRAE UN STIKER DE QUE NUNCA SE HA HABIERTO PERO PARECE QUE SI PORQUE FALTABA UNA ALMOHADILLAS DEL TORNILLO INFERIOR.... NO ME GUSTO PARA NADA QUE LA CONSOLA VINO LLENA DE POLVO PERO ANTES DE REALIZAR TODO LO QUE VOY A DECIR A CONTINUACIÓN COMPROBE QUE FUNCIONABA TODO...ESO SI #5 Despues de comprobar la consola que si funcionaba decidí abrirla Y comprobar porque Vienen en estas condiciones un producto que segun amazon fue Renovado...Pero Para Nada A continuación #6 abri la consola y estaba llena de polvo porntodas partes...procedi a limpiarla..no soy Un técnico de la electrónica pero no es Algo Muy difícil solo es quitar partes principales y Proceder a limpiar Con los que tengas a tu disposición .... #7 Me puse en contacto para Debolverlo pero pensé y dije ya Lo Voy a Limpiar por mi mismo pues me quedare con el #8 reemplaze el disco duro de 120 GB Por Un Disco Duro SSD 500GB #9 Si quieres comprartelo Es tu decisión la consola Si funciona Y trae Su Cable HDMI Y SU CABLE DE CORRIENTE BASTANTE CORTO LA VERDAD NO ME GUSTO TAMPOCO... #10 La consola Si las vas a comprar Llegara En estas condiciones No se si alguna otra estara en mejores condiciones pero lo que puedes estar seguro es que si sunciona Bien Con todo y polvo y el disco nones de 160 es de 120 GB Gracias
