I recently added this black gravel to my aquarium and I’m really impressed with how it transformed the whole look! Right away, the dark gravel made the fish and plants pop. It also created such a clean, bold background that makes colors stand out beautifully. The gravel was nice and clean (very little dust), and after a quick rinse it settled perfectly on the bottom without all the cloudiness or fuss some other gravels cause. It felt like a solid, and good quality and gave my tank a polished, finished look. My aquarium now looks more vibrant and “designed,” and the gravel gives a nice base for plants and decorations Everything feels more put-together than before. Overall I’m super happy with this purchase. If you want a simple but striking look for your tank, this gravel is a great choice!

I recently added black rocks to my aquarium, and they look absolutely beautiful. Their natural dark color creates a stunning contrast with the plants and fish, making the entire aquarium look more vibrant and elegant. The rocks give the tank a clean, modern, and natural appearance. They have transformed the overall look of my aquarium, and I am very happy with how attractive and visually appealing it has become.

I used this gravel to refresh my aquarium setup, and the difference was immediate. The color mix (pink, green, and blue) is vibrant without looking dull or washed out, and it really brings the whole tank to life—especially once the lights are on. The biggest standout is how well it reflects light. Under aquarium lighting, the colors pop and give that glowing effect GloFish setups are known for. It adds a lot of visual interest without needing a ton of extra decorations. The gravel itself is a good size—not too fine where it turns messy, but not overly chunky either. It spreads evenly across the tank and creates a clean, polished look once everything is set up. Before adding it to the tank, I did rinse it thoroughly, which I definitely recommend. There was some initial dust (which is normal), but after rinsing, the water stayed clear and I didn’t have any cloudiness issues. It also works well with plants and decorations. Everything sits securely without shifting around too much, which makes aquascaping easier. Overall, this is a really fun and visually striking gravel option that’s perfect if you want your aquarium to stand out without a complicated setup. ⭐️ I included photos and video showing how it looks in a fully set-up tank.

1st- these are NOT white rocks. They are natural colored stones PAINTED white. My concern is that over time; the white may wear off. However because of the way they are painted- some of the natural stone color shows through almost making them look porous or like coral-which I really like. 2nd- if you are like me.. it’s hard to judge the coverage of a 5lb bag of rocks; so I am including a pic of what x1- 5lb bag looks like in my narrow 15gallon tank. My layer is thin- but I didn’t want to add more weight. 3rd- there are some super small pieces that because I have a tight mesh strainer- they did not drain through. SEE pic! I did find that at first some of them floated on the top of the tank… but if you poke at them with your finger- they sink! I’m happy with them for the price. I’ve also included pics of the ricks close-up so you can see what I mean. Over-all good value.

Gravel is gravel

Great quality just needed a quick rinse.

This quarium glofish gravel comes in pink green and blue.

Excelente grava. El acuario se ve con mas luz

I think they looks nice

Nonetheless a quality product. I used it in a flower pot to fill out the gaps.

This is terrible quality black dyed gravel. It breaks apart very easily and crumbles into tiny pieces and despite rinsing it, my fish started dying a while after placing it in their tank. After removing them 3 out of five died and suffered in the process. Totally toxic and unsafe.

Macht optisch echt was her, vor allem in UV Licht. Schicke Sache, im Süss Wasser Aquarium- zwischen die tristen Pflanzen der Bewohner, Farbe rein zu bringen.
