Very large tablet but can be broken into two for ease of swallowing. Do your own research but excellent for ages related issues and can keep from outbreaks. Have taken this and other brands and highly recommended.

Taking L-Lysine is essential for me and I bought this product based on value for money and the reviews. For anyone thinking about taking this product because they get coldsores I would strongly recommend trying L-Lysine. It works. I haven't had a coldsore for years. Been taking this brand for a couple of months now and it's great. The pill size is quite large but it's the same size of all the other brands that I've had with this strength of tablet - including Holland and Barrett. Very happy. Will be repurchasing.

Superb product, use these all of the time for general fitness and active lifestyle. Plus haven't had a cold sore since! Great formulation and strength, and superb value for money. Recommended.

I'm sure these are fine and doing me good but they are rather big so difficult to swallow! Otherwise, arrived swiftly and I have no problems with them. Good value for 6 months supply.

This is the only thing that keeps my cold sores at bay. I’ve been prescribed anti virals (Acyclovir) which clears up an outbreak but they soon come back. I’d been cold sore free for a year when I switched to a combined supplement containing l-lysine but the strength, 300mcg, wasn’t enough and I developed another outbreak. I’ve gone back to this higher dose and hey presto! No more cold sores! If only GP’s would get wise to this and advise all patients with recurring, stubborn cold sores to try it. I’d much rather increase my intake of an amino acid that my body needs than manufactured drugs - better for my liver! When I first tried this I read somewhere that doubling the dose for the first month is more beneficial and then the recommended dose for maintenance. Worked for me! This is not a cure - it just keeps the Herpes infection dormant - so taking it needs to be lifelong.

These are big pills but no issue for me but some might struggle. Value for money nothing better. Will be getting again. I take 1 a day to stop cold sores and then one every 3 hours if I get one which is now less than 1 a year.

These arrived yesterday and already they’ve started to work their purpose. The price tag is absoutly amazing for the dosage, quality and quantity. This product and this specific brand will now be part of my everyday supplement routine. Don’t let other reviews put you off regarding pill size. Just take with water.

The l-lysine works, but the tablet itself is way too large. I have been taking l-lysine for a few years now and know that the tablets are big as standard. However, for this specific brand, the tablet is far too wide and very hard to swallow. I have tried breaking it in half, but this only made the matter worse, as I ended up with sharp, jagged edges. I am now taking it with absolute care and cannot wait until the full bottle is gone, so I can revert to my old brand.
