Gain is the amount of light reflected back from the screen. If it absorbs light, it has low gain. High gain screens are better in a dark room, but if you have a lot of ambient light, it's best to have one with less gain.

Why doesn't elite screens offer 120" floor rising model in the quickstand or kestrel series. it seems this is it.
