Great taste, minimal ingredients
This is by far the best tasting protein shake Iโve had. Great chocolate flavor, and the stevia does its job to keep it keto approved. I also appreciate the type of protein and the minimal ingredient list since I do my best to stay away from highly processed foods and chemicals. I have been preparing with unsweetened hemp milk and ice in my vitamix and the texture comes out smooth. Also great with a scoop of peanut butter powder added.

It's on my bi weekly subscription list!
There are nights where I work too late and don't want to eat a full meal right before bed so I use this to make a hot chocolate. I boil some water (about 10 oz) and put in our Vitamix blender along with one scoop of this powder. It mixes within 30 seconds and makes a super yummy hot chocolate with NO guilt! Great flavor with no weird aftertastes and no dairy aftermath in my mouth.

Surprisingly good, great for allergy-sensitive folks
My autoimmune issues have caused me to develop a slew of food allergies and sensitivities that I didn't have years ago, so I'm now allergic to dairy, soy, eggs, rice, and peas (among many other things), which leaves like 95% of protein powders unusable to me. I was SO happy to read about hydrolyzed beef protein recently in a Hashimoto's book. After digging around Amazon for beef protein, this fit the bill. Only a few ingredients, so it's super clean. Very chocolately, a little on the sweet side for my tastes but I can't detect the Stevia like I can in most products. I only need half a banana in my smoothie instead of a full or else it gets too sweet. It does NOT taste like beef or "animal" whatsoever, so please don't be afraid of that! I would equate the taste to whey. It doesn't blend as well as some protein powders, so that's my only gripe, but it doesn't bother me. If you're one of those folks who uses a blender bottle, you might have a harder time. But I use a Nutribullet and put tons of other things in there, so I don't care much. Overall, a solid choice and I'm really impressed.

The best protein powder
This protein powder is my favorite! The chocolate is so rich and tastes good in everything. I used it in smoothies and add to my yogurt for more protein and it blends well. I don't do well with Whey so this protein powder works for me and doesn't upset my stomach. I think the company is a great one and they were super responsive when I had an issue that was not their fault.

A Great Dairy-Free and Low Carb Protein Powder
I have not had a whole lot of luck being able to drink protein powders... I have issues with dairy and most protein powders are made with whey & dairy. While I recognize that there are other dairy-free protein powders out there, most are made with plant proteins (which I believe to be of lesser quality than animal proteins) and a lot of them are high in carbs, so I was pretty stoked when I found this dairy/whey free & low carb beef protein powder. I have been using the Active Stacks Chocolate protein powder for a month now, and here are the pros and cons that I have found so far. PROS 1. Dairy Free: I have an allergy to dairy, it makes my eczema flare up so I avoid it as much as possible. I also cannot consume whey protein because it causes the area around my mouth to break out in acne. I have not experienced any issues with this protein powder as I have with other whey protein powders. 2. Contains animal proteins: Animal protein is far superior than plant protein. Proteins from plants are less bioavailable than proteins from animals, as suggested by the Food and Agriculture Organization and United States FDA. The protein in this protein powder comes from beef and also contains collagen. 3. Minimal Ingredients: I am picky about what goes into my food and I prefer the ingredient list on food products that I buy to be kept short. Other than the beef protein, there are only 2 other ingredients listed as being in the protein powder and that is Cocoa powder & stevia. 4. Low Carb: There are only 2 net carbs per scoop. I can easily fit this into my daily carb allowance. CONS 1. Stevia: I'm not a fan of the stevia aftertaste and as a matter of fact, this is really the only major con for me about this protein powder. I wish they would go with a more forgiving low carb sweetener like erythritol or allulose or a blend of both. 2. Blendability: Not a big con, but just thought I'd throw it out there. If you are thinking you will be able to throw this in a blender bottle with cold water or milk and have it blend easily, then you're mistaken. Most of it will dissolve, but you will be left with a few chunks of unblended lumps that did not dissolve. Not a major con, since I use an immersion blender to blend it all together and it works well. It also mixes well if you're using this to make hot chocolate in a sauce pan, just use a wire whisk. In conclusion, I will likely keep buying this product because it is exactly what I have been looking for. The price is OK and comparable to another low carb protein powder that I was buying and the flavor of this protein powder is good, but I will have to learn to tolerate the stevia aftertaste for now until I can find a similar product with a different sweetener.

Best tasting protein powder ever with no digestive issues!
I've tried many different types of protein powder, and this one by far tastes the best - quite literally just like chocolate milk. Not chocolate milk-ISH, EXACTLY like chocolate milk! It's something I actually look forward to drinking instead of seeing it as a necessary evil. Other reviews mention that they taste the bitterness of stevia, but I don't taste it at all. I have tried whey based and vegan protein powders, but they always gave me a bit of indigestion, while I've had no issues with this product. My recommended method is to mix it vigorously with 6 oz of water in a regular shaker bottle (it dissolves very well in water), then add 3 oz of almond milk and gently mix. The almond milk gives it a bit more body. I don't recommend dissolving the powder in straight almond milk, as it froths a lot and feels like drinking a lot of air. Overall, the quality of this protein shake is A+ and I'm switching to this brand for the foreseeable future!

The second you like it the price goes up.
It is not value for the money. The texture is still clumpy and too sweet. Thought the price wood we set when I sighted up for the monthly but it went up the next month. Not worth the 2 lb. Try something worth it. Quality not worth it.

So glad I found this protein
For someone who is lactose intolerant, I love this protein. Easy on my stomach no bloating afterwards and taste great. I mix mine with a little bit of cinnamon and water. Shake it up and let it sit for about five minutes before drinking. This protein reminds me of the adaptogen beef protein that is no longer on the market.
