Great product for protecting yourself from grinding and clenching! I also have TMJ, and this has also benefited me. It was pretty straight forward, it comes with a small and a large mouth tray and it comes with two heavy duty moldable mouth guards. What I did was use my electric kettle to boil the water and dumped that into a pan, I threw in one of them and let it stay there for about 20 seconds, after I take it out and let it set for about 2-3 seconds and put it on the teeth you’d like to mold, I did my top teeth. Be kinda careful, if you have sensitive teeth it may be a little uncomfortable for a bit! After, the guard was in my mouth, I pushed upward with my thumbs and closed my mouth and let it sit there for about 3 minutes before I took the guard out. If you have any issues the first time, you can always just throw them back into the water and try to remold again. Overall, great and very durable. It depends on how much you grind, the more you do... these will obviously wear out faster, but for the price; you can’t beat it. I highly recommend this product!

I thought this was the perfect solution for my bruxism, BUT Iused this product and it moved my teeth so much I developed a lisp, my bite wouldn’t close (only two molars would touch in the very back of my mouth) and I ended up having to go to the orthodontist and get braces AGAIN. Trying to save money by using this product as an alternative to having the dentist making me a night guard ended up costing me $3,500 MORE than I would’ve spent in a professional May made guard. DO NOT USE THIS PRODUCT!! See my original review below. I thought it was great before all the damage was done which required me to spend THOUSANDS to have my teeth corrected after using this product. This is my first time using a moldable night guard. The process was definitely easy and I had zero issues getting it to mold to my teeth. The depression seems a little light but I’m honestly not sure how much it should be. I molded both the regular and a heavy duty tray since I wasn’t sure which I’d prefer. Last night, I used the thinner tray and found it rather thick. This might take some getting used to but I definitely didn’t chip off any of my back teeth like I was doing with my old guard. It was also great not waking up with a raging headache from the clenching. This might be the solution I was looking for to handle my bruxism. I will update this review upon further use and after I adjust the the new try of guard.

I’ve used other store-bought mouth guards before and they were always “1 size fits all”. I have a small mouth so they were very uncomfortable and painful to use. This product is exactly the opposite!!!! IT’S AMAZING! So easy to use and it comes with TWO sizes so the fabulous news is that TWO people in my family can have custom-made mouth guards for the price of ONE!!! You really can’t get better than that! It also comes w a compact storage container which is typical but I like that it’s blue. AND it's MADE IN THE USA!!!! I was a bit concerned when I opened the box and didn’t find any instructions inside, but the company is brilliant, because instead of wasting paper or cardboard, they printed the instructions on the outside of the box. LOVE THAT TOO!!!! So far, I've only tried it for myself, but I plan on using the smaller mold for my 7 year old son as he grits his teeth at night like crazy. This is a great product and I would recommend it to others.

Now, this product likely works well for the right person but for me, I noticed my back teeth and jaw started hurting. Is also wake up in the night chewing on it for some reason. Also the times for boiling are like, to a T! Like, do NOT look away for a second bc you'll ruin it; I did. I used mine upside down when I went to sleep, on my bottom teeth because I have an overbite and long front teeth. Overall, I got what I paid for.. it just didn't work for me

I got this with the idea that I could see if it would be better then the kind from Target. But after ordering it I had spoken to my dental hygentist who advised that she didn’t recommend these type of mouth guards as they can ruin your bite causing a lot of damage down the road. I have NOT even opened it and I can’t return it. FYI: other versions in the market will let you return/full refund if you are not 100% satisfied. If you are going to go with a non-fitted guard from your dentist, get one of those that will refund if not 100% satisfied. I honestly thought I had double checked ahead of time to NOT buy anything that can’t be returned. This guard has zero value to me because of the fact that I feel tricked. I’m sure I checked for prime and free returns. I would never ever would have purchased this product if I couldn’t return unused. Oh, the other kinds out there-you can even use them and they will fully refund your money. I NEVER trust companies that don’t let people returned unopened products. I get safety. But if you have the product in a sealed packaging you would be able to guarantee this. Instead I haven’t opened the box so I’ve no idea how this company packaged the insides. I doubt it’s in a sealed packaging. They just want your money regardless of anything. Don’t buy from this company!

Truth be told, I was hesitant to order this product due to all the complaints regarding the guards turning to mush. But if you read and reread the instructions before you start and use a little common sense, its very easy. I've included lots of pictures of the products for reference as well. First let me say, the package says there are 3 sizes. In my estimation, that is incorrect. Heres what you get. (1) small regular guard, (1) large regular guard, and (2) large heavy duty guards. Three of the 4 guards are all the same size and there is no heavy duty guard for smaller mouths (but after molding - that wasn't an issue.) I have a small mouth with a high arched roof and upon inserting the unmolded guards in my mouth, the small guard felt good. The heavy duty mold hurt and felt very clunky, gagging me slightly. I refrained from doing any cutting/adjustments to see how things felt after the molding process. On with the molding process... The regular and heavy duty guards state different amounts of time to be submerged to soften them, so be sure you are looking at the right instructions for your mold. It says to boil your water THEN remove from heat for 1 minute to stand. Here's the problem... we have different interpretations of what boiling is. I turned my heat off a bit after the tiny bubble on the side wall of the pot stage, just as small bubbles started to rise. I definitely was nowhere near a full, rolling boil. I set a 60 sec timer. Then submerged the regular, small guard first, starting an 18 sec timer. I watched closely and at 16 sec, the guard started to slightly curl, so I immediately removed it onto a flat paper towel. Waited a 3 sec count, put it in my mouth pushed with my thumbs on my teeth, sucked as suggested, and continued to suck with my tongue pressing the guard on my teeth and roof of my mouth. I reheated my water to the same boiling point as the first time and followed the same exact instructions for one of the heavy duty guards but let it boil for 19 seconds, removing it at that same slight curl point and molded the same as the first. Both guards fit great and feel extremely comfortable! No cutting was required at all. I have yet to try sleeping with either guard in, but I will return in a couple of weeks with an update IF I see signs of wear in either from night grinding. So far, I am very pleased with this purchase.

I bought this for my husband because it’s easier than getting him to the dentist for a proper mouth guard. I like that it comes with large and small options (woo hoo, back ups for me). It also comes with extras in both sizes in case you don’t get the perfect fit after the first mould. I like how bulky and thick it is. This may be annoying at first but once you get used to it they stay in place much better. When he used thinner mouth guards they would fall out in the middle of the night. After a few months he did bite all the way through this. However, better the mouth guard than his teeth. It’s not really possible to get a retail hard exterior mouth guard. These are great for the price and you gotta love amazon prime availability.

I've used the heavy duty one for about 2 weeks now and it already broke in half along both sides of my mouth. Where my bottom teeth sit against it , is split . This may work ok for grinding but not for clenching . I've had a bite guard for years and this one definitely didn't hold up. I'll be spending the extra few dollars and buying a better one. You definitely get what you pay for with this product. I wasn't happy with the molding process either . I attempted the smaller one first being I thought it would fit better. Once it hit the water , it was much to small instantly. The heavy duty one didn't shrink as much but did widen unfortunately.
