Ralph Steadman: Proud Too Be Weirrd Hardcover – November 22, 2013

Amazing and Stunning in its breadth and scope! The writing is excellent and adds considerable interest to the images.The quality of the illustrations is terrific- if you are a Steadman fan you won't be disappointed!

For once, the XL size of a book is justified by its contents. I started putting bookmarks in at pages I wanted to return to, but soon realized I wanted to return to all of them. Weird (or weirrd) they may be, but the graphics are also stunningly beautiful. Breathtaking, even. If David Hughes is Saul Steinberg on steroids, then Ralph Steadman is Hughes on steroids. I can't think of a more inspiring art book that I own, and I own lots. I'll be studying these works for inspiration and pure enjoyment many times for years (I hope) to come.

Two words: Ralph Steadman. It's a great collection of his work. You know you want it. Why not pull the trigger (too soon? RIP HST).

A beautiful and impressive book!

If you're a real fan of Mr.Steadman and want to get a piece of his work and thought, this book is AWESOME! This is a bible with great scans and photographs of his work, with texts that reveal a lot about the man and his opinions. The physical size of the book is impressive and what it contains too.

I have been an admirer of Ralphs work for some time now and his style of drawing is amazing.I actually sat and read the entire book. Easier said than done as it is enormous In size!The artwork is beautifully presented and is a true testament to a great illustratorYou will not be disappointed

Argh, Ralph! You filthy animal! You dirty little beast! This book is a shining light in an otherwise beautiful but rotten bastard of a vicious world.
