Paravel Foldable Travel Duffle Bag | Lightweight Carry On Bag

I was reluctant, to say the least, about plunking down $70 for what amounts to a nylon shopping bag. But we were heading to Europe and wanted to use only two carry-on bags. Hey, knock off $25 for checked bag fee and your down to maybe $40 for a shopping bag. Not good, but theses things were touted as the best. Got a nice red one. Big, with zippered inner pocket nice, sturdy outer zip. Large, sturdy carrying straps that were long enough to hold bag on shoulder. Two weeks worth of stuff disappeared into its maw. Omg. Bought another one for my wife who was about to steal mine. Later, in about a week, I’m panicked because I can’t find my stowed away car keys. Wife unzips that inner pocket and there they be. Best Buy the whole trip. Now that we’re back, I’ll use mine for a really nice grocery bag.

Glad I took Oprah's advice on this one! I have a bit of an obsession with bags, which means I've purchased a lot, and this is the most durable packable bag I've ever owned (and I've owned a few). Packable bags can look (and be) pretty flimsy and cheap-looking, but this has more structure and looks as nice as any traditional bag...nicer than many, in fact. It's also quite roomy. And while I usually opt for black (and I did purchase black for a gift), I'm glad I went with this tomato red because its cheery color brightens my travel day

This is a really well made bag and it is pretty easy to fold and unfold and I know that it will be used often. And it's pretty! It feels sturdy even though it is very light material. My only "complaint" is that it is a bit overpriced. That said, it is clearly a quality bag.

We travel a lot and this bag is a fantastic size to put in our luggage to use at the end of our trips for the extras we purchase! Great workmanship as well and unfolds to the size of a small duffel

I have been seeing this bag everyone online for a long time now and kept going back and forth about buying it. It seemed a bit expensive for the type of bag that it is but after many months I finally decided to get it because I got an Amazon gift card. Well, I am not impressed. I am a big traveler with lots of luggage and bags and review them often online. This bag left me rather disappointed. Much smaller than expected, the online photos look much more substantial. I guess I should have gotten a tape measure out to see the dimensions before ordering. Also, the material is rather cheap and it is very flimsy. It won't stand up on its own at all and unless totally full it just slouches down. Corners are not nice and sharp like in photos, it is all slumpy.Also, the material is very thin, I would not want to even put it on the ground or floor of plan for fear that it will rip. They claim on the website that it holds 3-5 days worth of clothes and 1-2 pairs of shoes, that is a total like. Maybe if you only wear one outfit a day. It is barely large enough to be an overnight bag if you have a toiletry bag as well. It might fit 2-3 outfits total and 1 pair of shoes with toiletries. Not a bag you could use for a weekend. At least not a woman. Maybe a guy with a couple pair of shorts, t shirts and a toothbrush.I bought it to be an overnight bag and my extra shopping bag for trips to bring stuff home in. But it is a bit too small for both. I have another bag that is also a fold-up bag, made of a much sturdier fabric and twice the size and it cost $35. A much better bag all around. This one is not worth your money sadly.

The nylon is glossy, soft and so durable. It holds loads of stuff. It seems like it will last a long time. I love this bag.

My husband needed a "go bag" for his carry-on items. He kept using those string backpacks you get everywhere for free and they kept falling apart on him. We bought him this bag for Christmas because it was one of Oprah's 2018 Favorite Things and he loves it. It's lightweight, stylish, and large enough to hold everything he needs.

The bag arrived in really nice packaging, well made travel item. Feels luxurious.
