How are the handles? sturdy enough?

I recently moved. I never intended to use the handles because I felt the items I put in them were a little on the heavy side. I had help moving and the people who helped me used the handles. To my surprise, the fabric covered cardboard in the base did not get ruined and the handles did not get ruined. They are much sturdier than I expected.

Will the large size work for regular size file folders?

The jumbo storage boxes for clothes come in a set of 3, and each dimension is 15.9 x 12 x 10.2 inches (L x W x H). measure your file folders But I believe a standard file folder would fit.

What are the Dimensions without the lid?

The extra large storage boxes for clothes come in a set of 3, and each dimension is 15.9 x 12 x 10.2 inches (L x W x H).

Are the storage bins with lids suitable for use in open mode wardrobe?

I used them in my bathroom closet to organize sheets to keep them clean. I do wish they were a little larger though. They are very attractive and well made. I think they would be a great for open mode wardrobe.
