RANSOTO Motorcycle Fender Eliminator license plate mount Compatible with Honda CBR500R CB500F 2016-2024

I saw several critical reviews insisting there are difficulties, some even suggesting to cut some of the bushings to be able to install them on the tail tidy. I am now convinced all of them got in too much of a rush. Yes, the bushings for the turn signals do take a bit of patience, but that's it. They're the reasons the instructions suggest using a small screwdriver. I would suggest a pair of needle-nose pliers, especially angled ones, to gently help tug them into place. That's the only difficulty. The rest just takes patience and methodical action. The instructions were plenty clear, though I do wish they were better printed for more clear images. However, the parts which I might not have seen so clearly were easy enough to figure out. There was one surprise: The bolts to hold the fender eliminator in place are not metric. The rest is. They wobbled a bit much in the closest metric fit, wouldn't fit 1mm less, spun in 1mm more. But they were snug in a 7/16ths socket. That said, all of that said above, the whole thing reassembles well. It all fits snugly, and looks good. I really like that the kit accommodates both factory and aftermarket signals, should you decide to switch things up a bit.

The final product is worth every penny of ~$30. I'd been looking for a tail tidy/fender eliminator that reused the factory lighting, and I was hesitant to buy one so cheap from Amazon. Ransoto did not disappoint. Build quality is pretty good for the cost. The powder coating looks like it should last. The installation instructions are detailed, and while the printout was in black and white, I could still easily understand them. The most difficult part of the install was fitting the factory turn signal grommets into the bracket with the included spacers, but with plenty of silicone-based lube and the right tools (screwdriver and picks), it can be done. I have a 2023 model with the LED lighting, and it works great. 5/5, would recommend to any CB500 owner.

Have a 2025 Honda Cbr500r and it fits amazing. You can use all the OEM turn signal lights, and the license plate light as well.

Pretty straightforward to install on the 2016 CBR500R. I think it looks great. Mounting aftermarket blinkers was a bit tedious, but turned out really nice. Biggest complaint is that the OEM plate illumination doesnt fit. Im deciding to go without any plate illumination because it will be pretty close to the tail light, which should light it up enough.

The kit was nice and easy to install while reusing all stock lights and turn signals from my 2019 Honda CB500F. YouTube video helped me figure out how to pull out the stock signal lights. Putting them through was a bit trick. They were perfect until I installed my Givi top case rack. The rack pushes down on my signal lights on both sides causing them to angle downwards a bit. Great for the price if no rack is installed.

Looks great, good quality, and mostly easy to install except for the turn signal boots, as others have mentioned. I got this over some other options 3x the price and was not disappointed. A tip for installing the OEM turn signal boot with the (included) spacer: I was not able to get the boot through both the cut-out and the spacer. But, if you take a thin hacksaw and cut the spacer open on one end, you can bend it open to slip around the boot after it's already in the cut-out, then close it up again. Careful not to bend too much or you may break it! But once you get it in and bent back to to shape, there's no way possible it could come loose

For the price this product is spectacular! The other big name brands and sites want well over $100 dollars for a similar product. This product is feels solid and sturdy. It fit right onto 16 CB500-F with no issues. The instructions were a bit fuzzy at times, but with YouTube and common knowledge, not impossible. I have had this on my bike for well over 2,000 miles now and nothing has come loose or failed. I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a cheaper alternative!

Easy to install and really cleaned up the tail. The only issue I had was not with the product but the factory mounting bolts, I had to drill them out.

Everything fits well. The rubber for the turn signals takes some time to take off and on.

Great tail tidy but holy hell kid. The install was a giant faff. Thought I was going to be done in minutes, I was in for over an hour. Heed everyone's warning: Make sure not to install anything the wrong way round or upside down.. Worth it in the end I guess.

Not sure of the price compared to similar offerings but seems reasonable and looks great after installation. There is a YouTube video of someone installing this exact product and it is 100% easy to follow. Installing the rubber grommets back onto this was a little hard but if you use pliers to "pull" the tabs over the spacers, it's not so bad. (You'd have to do this for any brand) Money well spent

The weight difference in this product is unbelievable. I love how it let me use all the OEM parts with this HOWEVER, installing the rubber grommets from the factory indicators was a PITA!! My hand and fingers still hurt from installing these little S&^#s. Handy tip - Use something like cooking spray to lube up the holes (Yep). You will have great difficulty in trying to wedge the spacer in with the OEM rubber piece for the indicators but keep trying! Don't give up. Be careful not to stuff it up and put the left rubber housing for the indicator on the right side and visa versa. There is a difference. The angle of the eliminator is a little high though but it'll grow on me.
