are cluster hard? My maltese has few teeth to chew

Yes, the clusters are hard. We soak them with regular honest kitchen food prior to feeding our old girl that has few teeth. The clusters take a while to soak up the water. Our girl also gets ziwipeak dehydrated food. It has very thin square chips the size of my pinky finger nail. A great treat.

Is it too hard for a senior dog?

My oldest dog is 9 1/2 yrs. I mix the dry with the honest kitchen dehydrated after it is reconstituted. That way he gets some soft and some crunchy
