Easy to assemble, sturdy, and not unattractive. This piece is well worth the price. I may buy more! Drawers slide easily and letter size files fit perfectly. UPDATE: The bottom drawer, once it has a heavy load, can come off the side tracks if pulled out too far. HERE'S WHAT TO DO. Pull the entire rack away from the wall so that you can push the second drawer, the drawer just above the file drawer, back. That way you won't have to pull the file drawer too far forward in order to access folders. In fact, both the top and second drawers can be pushed back so there is lots of room to work with in accessing the folders in the bottom drawer. I've had this product for over a year now, and still find it attractive and a nice addition to my small office space. Even with a lot of contents, it wheels easily.

I was able to easily assemble this cart, with one exception. There are acorn nuts for the ends of the brackets. They are in pairs. One bracket of one pair was not threaded correctly, and it's not possible to get the nut, or another nut I had, on it to secure it. But, since they are in pairs, I assume the nut on the other bracket will hold. I'm using it in my shed to hold garden gloves, clippers, trowels, etc. It's got plenty of capacity, and surely could hold heavier items with no problem. I like that there are locks on one set of wheels. My only complaint about the design is that there are no "stops" on the drawers. If it was up against a wall, I guess that wouldn't be an issue, but my cart is not. Therefore, it's super easy to push the drawers out the back end of the cart -also, they slide very easily, and can easily be pulled all the way out. My solution was to put tiny bungee cords across the back of each drawer to keep it from falling out.

Safeco black mesh cart w/1-file drawer and 2 smaller drawers: I read many reviews for this and similar products before buying. Easy to assemble even for 73-year-old me. It's even better than I expected, nice smooth mesh, easy slide drawers. I took advice from another reviewer and used 3 small bungee cords to prevent drawers sliding out the back, perfect solution! Was worried about the file drawer not properly holding hanging file folders because of some other reviews but although I can see what they mean, mine works fine for me (letter-size hanging files). I actually like that the files don't slip and slide too easily. Some people had asked if drawers can change position and YES, file drawer can be at bottom (my preferred position because of the weight of the files), in the middle, or on top. I had to call to ask one question: they don't tell you in the instructions that you need a rubber hammer (or something similar) to force the casters all the way down into the holes (2 locking casters go on front legs, regular casters on back legs). Unless you pound them down flush, the casters will be useless. Would definitely buy again. I'm very happy with my purchase. Thank you Safeco and Amazon!

I like this even more than I thought I would. The cart is very easy to put together and sturdy. Although there is nothing to stop the hanging files from going out of the back, I haven't had any problems. I keep some heavy files in the middle and that seems to keep every in place. There are two drawers that pull out, large enough to store a ream of computer paper, printer cartridges, etc. I don't use the top shelf regularly because it's not easy to reach (I placed the cart under a desk), but it's handy to store items I don't use often. The locking devices on the wheel keep the cart in place just fine. I looked at a bunch of different carts before I finally made this purchase and am very happy with this purchase. No regrets. Very sturdy and useful product for a reasonable price.

I was hesitant to purchase this based on reviews that I had read, but I have no regrets with my purchase. I give it 2 Stars each for Assembly and Sturdiness. Instructions for setup are not very clear, and the screws provided are terrible. If you use a wrench to tighten anything, you chip off the coating. To me, that isn't an issue but I can see how some people would find it unappealing. The drawers can be pulled open from either side, but it would be nice to have a stopper included if you only ever open it from one side. It definitely is not a study piece of equipment, either. I do not have the wheels on mine because I have no need to roll it anywhere and it sits on a carpeted floor. I give it 5 Stars for Storage Capacity because it really does hold a lot. I use it to store art pads (11x14" is the biggest I own), materials, etc. and everything fits nicely. It does weigh the drawers down a bit, but I haven't noticed the bottom giving out yet. Overall, if you need under-desk storage that won't need to be moved I would recommend this. Otherwise I would get something of a higher quality.

For the price and what it does, I can't complain. It matches all the other black mesh accessories I have on my desktop, and has plenty of storage space for things you want tucked out of the way. Better yet, you can see into the drawers to know what has been put where, but without it looking too messy or disorganized. The only issue I had was what had been mentioned a few times: how the drawers have no stopper and will continue sliding out through the back when pushed. I solved this by getting some pliers and crimping down one end of each of the rails the drawers slide on. Now the drawers stop where they should and all is well.

Read many reviews before purchasing this. I live in a small apartment and needed a little cart like this to help keep so much of my home office off the dining table and this has been perfect. It's not as sturdy as I would have liked, but knew it wouldn't be, having read the reviews, although I've had it for several months now and have no significant problems with it. I have it pretty well loaded down. I don't move it much, but it wheels fine when I need it to. the back wheels do lock if needed. Also, I had read that there were no stops at the back of the unit where the drawers slide, so they can slide out the back when closing them. To solve that I just wound a bit of black twisty tie at the back over each bit of the drawer track to keep them from sliding through. I have them full and heavy enough that they don't slide fast anyway, but this ensures that they stop when pushed all the way in.The drawer bottoms are mesh but that's not an issue for me. You can arrange the drawers anyway you want, I have the hanging folders on top and the two small drawers on the bottom and it works for my needs. It was very less than $30 and for the money, a good deal and exactly what I needed in a small apartment. I'm easy on my stuff, so expect it will get me through the next couple years until I move again.

Really love this product as it’s peefect for what I needed it for. There’s a ton of storage space and I love that you can rearrange the drawers, if you wanted to have the filing drawer at the top and the storage doors at the bottom or however. It’s nice to have that option. The only downfall with this product is what others have mentioned about how there is nothing to stop the drawers from just flying out the backside. Fortunately we have it against a wall and that doesn’t affect the use in any way.

The cart works well and is sturdy but is a little smaller than it looks. A file folder will not sit flat as in the picture.

the casters easily fall out if you lift the cart; letter size hanging folders are not secure as the frame is too wide. Easy to build, nice to look at but i cannot hang files in the drawer as it is too wide for letter size
